Who in the heck will beat up a rifle scope in the first place

I understand your water bottle test for durability, but why not test its accuracy at varying ranges before you beat the heck out of it? Yes, durability is what we all want and need, but you don't need a Military Grade sight to have fun shooting targets. To be honest, this price range if its accurate is good for me. If I fall and drop my firearms and break the cheap $40 dollar sight, I'll just buy another one or two and still have fun on a low budget.

Those small batteries are a fail point as I've found out. JUNK cheap made in Red China JUNK !

as opposed to using hard well water?

To be honest this does not look half bad for the price to be used on something like an Airsoft rifle. May get this for my son.

Thanks for the review. Kinda a soft test with the water bottle. Maybe try driving nails into a 2 x 4 the next time? Or driving wooden stakes into a vampire. Or impact against a zombie skull.

What kind of damage do you think you would do to a regular scope, I fear you would bend the tube. No scope I’ve ever owned has ever been subjected to that type of abuse.

A couple hits to simulate a drop or two makes sense. Beating it up that many times proves nothing! Take a eotech and try that, the results will probably be the same. Damn, some YouTubers think their professionals 🤨

This water test proves if your falling off a 600 foot cliff your site will not work. So dont fall off a cliff and you will be fine.

I use airsoft alloy optics which are modified to be tighten to the rail using tool mounts(allen screws and such) never dropped it .. but one day I had a good deal at the same set I already had mounted so I trashed it with the water bottle lol nothing moved… Nothing happened. Pretty good set up for R$350.00 bucks

Red dots hurt my eyes. I find that blue dots are a lot easier on my eyes. Sadly there are very few blue dot options, especially in the cheaper range.

What is the water bottle test representing? Dropping your rifle directly on the optic two dozen times? Wtf if your that clumsy with a rifle you shouldn't be handling one.

you should have let it fail, you are supposed to be reviewing sights so do i, dont make assumpions, we watch you videos bcause you have the sight and can test it, so please just test it

Have you tried out outdoorsportsusa.com? Comes up as eagle lite inc also. Can get some cheap build kits that you have to put together. Just ordered one that was 35% off that I’m going to give a try. Sounds up your ally for a budget build. Parts wise it really just looks like a as basic as you can get components. They use some Anderson parts kits and stuff.

Ok so can someone explain to me what real life scenario beating a sight with a water bottle is supposed to simulate? I am kind of new to AR’s so I don’t think I have been in a situation where my rifle would be hit like that.

Start testing on shotguns and bigger rifles.

I haven’t really seen any reflex sight that features any major differences from any other.
The idea is great though, minimal interference with a wide sight picture.

Beat it back to zero, lol. That entire style of gigantic Eotech/Sightmark optic should be left with cluttered-up quad rails in the 1990's. There are plenty of un-magnified optics that can do the job at half the weight of those beefcakes.

The Bushnell TRS-25 is floating between $45-$55 on Amazon the last few months. The few extra dollars will be a world of difference.

I think a lot of these sights you review are basically the same thing sold from different companies. That whole 4 reticle thing is on a ton of them
