Great review, I hate to hear the VX2 line is being discontinued. But at least there are still similar models being produced.

The old VX 2 1-4 by 20mm were 250.00 from Cabelas back in the early 2000's, so the new ones are way overpriced, I should know because I have three of them! Still running!!!! Lol!! They still look new too!

GRABBED A BRAND NEW (discontinued) LEUPOLD VX-1 FOR JUST $119 A MONTH AGO. WORKS GREAT ON MY MINI 14.

I don't have any direct experience with the VX-2 series, but my VX-R patrol 1.25-4 has been through about two years of two gun matches, has taken many hits and knocks, has been dropped  (while off the rifle) on to the concrete floor (by me), and was landed on when my rifle was knocked off a rifle rack (also on concrete, this one not by me).  The objective bell shows some of the wear, but the optic still works as good as the day I got it.  All this durability, and still lighter than most of the competition.

It's time for all of you to write you Governor, State House and Senate, Congressional reps and the President to politely tell them you object. And to get your friends, family and others to do the same. GO DO IT.
Or you can just accept Hillary Clinton Democrats as the next Administration and 2A in the trash – your choice.

I have a vx2 2-7 in a warne mount on one of my rifles. Another line i would highly suggest is any of the weaver made in Japan series.

Be careful bro. I woke up today and heard Hank had his channel deleted by YouTube. MAC took down the majority of his channel in hopes of not being deleted. Something big is happening all around us….prepare yourself. Key words seem to be AR15 and bullpup so far. I'm sure more algorithm key words are coming.

Nice review. I have the Leupold 1×4. Hog Hunter scope. About the same thing with the pig Plex. Got it in aero precision mount on a 10.5" 300 blackout. Solid setup. It will bring home the bacon.
