Should you build a pistol caliber AR-15 with a dedicated lower, or a normal 223 lower receiver? In this video I take a look at some of the advantages and disadvantages of each, including a discussion of the Glock magazines vs Colt pattern magazines.

What kind of buffer and spring setup do you run with your 9 mm pistol upper? Do you have to change buffer and spring if you change your upper caliber?
Thatโs nice guns you have there my brother
just cause you asked , went with a freedom arms fx9 glock mag pistol , good reviews and after market mags/happy sticks are cheap right now , heck 9mm ammo is 14cents rd ๐
Great video. I have built several ARs but I am getting everything together to do my first 9mm. The watch and the Spiderco are very Nut-N-Fancy! ๐
Nice pair brother good for shtf cheers bug out
I have one Glock lower rifle, 2 Colt style pistols and a Colt style rifle (I had and sold a Glock pistol). I personally find the Colt style 9mm better. If you watch places like PSA around holiday sales I've found metalform mags as cheap as $12.99/ea.
One other advantage to a std AR lower is if the hammer pin ever wallows out in shape (has been known to happen) it's easier and cheaper to replace the std lower VS a dedicated model.
Will a oylimpic 9mm magazine work on your set up
where are you at? im in Colorado as well. we can be besties and have range dates lol
Dude, can you tell me How Long & how Heavy the 9 MM Buffer is?
And Where do I get the AR 9 mM Mag Block to drop in my AR 16
Glock Or Uzi
Close to 300bucks for just the lower when I can buy a whole Hi-point for 300 bucks seems like your spending a bit much just to get a certain look.
