I don't think there's any conclusive way to determine the accuracy of a drop in conversion kit. I shot the conversion kit through 2 ars with the same twist rate and the same barrel length. They both produce vastly different results using the same ammo.
The video does a pretty good job at showing the reliability of the kit. I'm sure they weren't 100% on target but given the low recoil, I wouldn't doubt that they hit mostly on target.
The the mags I'm using are made by Black Dog Machine, I have had no issues with them so far. Make sure to clean the chamber of your conversion with .22 brush chucked to a power drill every few thousand rounds, or when you're having lots of jamming issues ( like only feeding the round in halfway.)
My magazines are you using? I was having a problem with my CMMG adapter jamming every 4 to 5 rounds. Your mags don't look like the one I got with my adapter. I'd like to try something different and see if it helps my problem.
I guess the video started out as some sort of reliability test, but ended up just being me and my cousin blasting through ammo. Steel targets are awesome, but I didn't have any at the time, though I do now. The accuracy of the conversion is decent, but due to tighter twist on AR-15 barrels, you will have much greater accuracy with a dedicated .22 upper with the correct rifling for .22 caliber.
Why would I want you to shoot paper targets? Steel targets at awesome, and the 22 lets you shoot them at close range safely. I don't care if you have fun but usually you make a video with a purpose. Was this a reliability test? I asked the question because I was curious about the accuracy of the gun when converted. lol, don't worry you will see some gun videos on my channel. Have a nice day!
I think the point of the video eluded you nutnfancy jr. Back to your question…Did I hit anything? Really? AR-15 with a .22 conversion is the easiest gun you could possibly shoot fast and accurate. I have no issues with my marksmanship, I hit the targets I aim at, which is all that matters. Sorry I'm not shooting plain ole paper targets and was trying to have some fun Capt. Buzzkill.. Maybe I should switch to making boring knife reviews instead….
Did you hit anything? it looks like you are really good at wasting ammo but you don't have good marksmanship fundamentals. Learn to hit something, then learn to hit it fast.
On the one I power-slammed, I wasn't trying to do that..sometimes the mags stick a little…Dirt is pretty hard in OK, and a little mag smacking it isn't going to turn it to sand…so it had no effect on the mags and they still work great to this day…

nice bump fire lol miss the old days when .223 ammo was cheap enough to bump fire 200 rounds lol

I can't believe you throw your magazines in the dirt.
@customar4u Think of it more as a reliability test. My trigger finger does get a little slower after a few mags sometimes.
@Eslamizar Thanks!
Nice bump fire with the AR pistol.
Thats rapid fire ?
@Migs4000 Thanks Elmer, how did wabbit season go this year?
god bless america
