  1. I did this to my first BCM 11.5 and didn't notice it until 6 months later. I shaved the mlok screws down so it doesn't make contact with the gas block because I wanted the light where it was.

  2. I experienced the same thing when mounting the hand stop on my 10 inch AR. Thankfully I noticed/fixed it before I went shooting, its always a good idea to have space between your hardware and your gas block. I added a few lock washers between the screw heads and the hand stop to decrease the thread protrusion on the inside of the rail.
