  1. Tried these and they are thicker than Strike Industries V2 M LOK sectiions and seemed to easy to come loose. They are rough on the gripping surface than the textured V2 Strike ones and actually made the rails fatter because although they are radiused, they are thicker in the center. Thanks but no thanks!

  2. I know this is probably "beneath" a real steel shooter's accessory, but do these fit on airsoft spec keymod rails? I know there's a difference between military spec and airsoft spec, but I can't seem to find any keymod rails that are made for airsoft replicas.

  3. Is this a good for heat resistance? I have a fore grip on my ar but sometimes I tend to grab the rail. Just looking for a somewhat cool spot to grab onto.

  4. These won't fit on EVERY keymod system, depending on what handguard you're running. Not talking down on BCM, whatsoever. Great company and great handguards. Just, buyer beware if you have an off brand rail system that isn't made to spec. The key mod holes may look the same, but the tolerances are off, and you will be quite disappointed when trying to install these on your handguard.

  5. Does having the entire rail covered cause any heat issues? I like the way it looks also, I used vism individual keymod covers in a checker board patteren but Ive not gotten to shoot it yet and was wondering if a mag dump would leave the rail too hot to hold?

  6. Those look nice. I've been looking for some covers for my MI keymod handguard. The MI only has slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, but I think it would still be nice. I'm not really concerned about heat because I never shoot sustained enough. I doubt most of the people complaining about it do either. Incredible that people are complaining about the price. $10 for a 5-pack of long ones is very reasonable and I'm sure cheaper than most covers.

  7. Scootch, would you go keymod or mlok now in 2016? I really like the KMR, but it's looking like Magpul is throwing it's weight around the industry, and will make M lok the more common standard.

Thank you for the vids man. From GA

  8. I've got a 15" UTG Pro keymod rail and I just ordered 3 packages, you suppose the three will be enough to cover everything leaving room for my Military Version Grip pod? Really enjoy your videos.. You young vets that think the grip pod is junk don't know life where there was no option for a bipod so don't laugh at us older folks when you see us at the range..

  9. I just run a quad free float rail. I like the rigidity. I know a friend that bought one of those tiny Troy free float tubes and bent the snot out of it in CQB training. give me the big ugly rigid tanks anyday. I've got to be able to take my rifle through hell and back, and it still function. the yankee hill free float quad rail gives me that at a good price. but to each his own. for three gunners I could see the attraction to these.

  10. Purchased these exact BCM rail covers when they first came out. Great covers for a great price, imo. Felt completely comfortable cutting these to size. I typically hesitate doing something like that for kits that suggest it but was comfortable doing so w/ this set simply because of the price – knew if I messed 'em up, it would be cheap to replace. 'course, I didn't mess them up because it was easy. 🙂
