Eotech G33 (left handed mount) & Geissele S3G trigger

Hey do you think the dust cover for the left side ar15 upper would overtime throw off the zero on the eotech from it being hit with the dust cover overtime?

Does your method withstand sustained fire without coming loose? I've thought about getting the LaRue mount which has a smaller throw lever, and even thought about cutting it off… I'll try this if it hasn't came loose on ya.

Thanks for the lefty prospective. I'm a righty but shoot long guns left handed. I pick up this set up for my HK mr556. Works great. I might still upgrade the mount to something different, if I can find a better left hand option.

Sir Great Video. Do like the Eotech RMR and G33 better than the Burris 332 ? I have the 332 and kinda wanting the Eotech just wanting to see what you think ? If I should pull trigger and get Eotech what do you think ? your AR Rocks !!!!

I also have a left handed Stag and i'm considering an Eotech but i'm concerned about the flip up dust cover in regards to ejection and zero issues. Have you encountered any issues with the dust cover and interference?

where did you get the skull prints for that stag rifle   i just bought the stag8 and the the eotech sight my next purchase is the 3x mag   looks bad ass man

I read the online manual and it says the only time you use that is when your eotech has a quick disconnect

With your magnifier mounted to flip to the left does the mount not hit on the magnifier when installed without the Riser because on mine the rubber part seems to rub when flipping it in and out

You can always "time" the knobs, in case it does go on ya, you can always just quickly reset back to "zero"

I wonder if those people who purchase there eotech magnifiers purchase fake ones that are hard to turn or clicks…thats a good question to call eotech to make sure you  have a legit one.

Get Sean, I'm left handed and left eye dominant. So I switched the G33 to flip to the left. I know the elevation and Windage knows do not effect zeroing. My point was they move to easy and can move the reticle out of center. Thanks for the comment.

I just picked up one of these G33's for my DD AR-15 and I wanted to mention two things that I read in the install manual 1) You should switch left/right depending on your eye dominance, not your handedness 2) Moving the windage and elevation knobs are only for aesthetics of putting the reticle in the center of the field of view, it does NOT change the zero of your red-dot.

Hey Frankie, you can feel the difference at first, but now I'm used to it. I think with both Eotech's on, it adds like 22 oz. With the free float handguard I just put on, the total weight of my is 8.4 pounds with a empty mag. Full 30 round mag adds one pound.

does it add a lot of weight?

mpsi, Thanks for the comment! The graphics are a process called hydrograhic. I had it done here in Fort Lauderdale at Shark Bite Custom dot com. Everything you see on the rifle plus 4 Pmags ran $200.00.

Hey GMC, I'm using the EXPS2-0. If you can't get the latch to close, loosen the screw until the latch will close. Then open the latch, tighten the screw 1/2 turn or to the tightness of your liking and close the latch back. Thanks for viewing the video.
