The M4E1 AR-15 Stripped Upper Receiver from Aero Precision

Aero Precision’s M4E1 Threaded Stripped Upper Receiver combines the benefits of Aero’s M4E1 Enhanced Upper with threads up front to accept a standard AR-15 barrel nut and handguard attachment, for those who prefer to build a rifle with a different handguard from Aero’s Gen 2 Enhanced or Atlas ’guards.

The M4E1 Threaded Stripped Upper Receiver is forged from 7075 T6 aluminum, like a regular mil-spec receiver, but with angular external contours that add the strength – and custom look – of a “billet” receiver. The good news: parts compatibility is “mil spec” all the way. The Aero Precision Upper Receiver accepts any mil-spec AR-15 bolt/carrier group (not included) and fits on a standard AR-15 lower.

  1. I picked up a couple m4e1 lowers from aero on Black Friday as I had been lusting over then since I saw available for pre-order. When my bev block and armors wrench get here I’m putting my 18”bcm 410 Ss barrel with src dlc bcg in it. Debating to stick with my 15” Kmr-a rail or grab a 17” kmr-a with Luth ar fixed stock and a 2/2 cmc 2 stage trigger. Should be a nice spr build to take out to 500 or so when I can find room to stretch its legs a bit. I’ve had dd, bcm & noveske and the aero products impress me with their quality and value, so looking forward to finishing the builds I have in store for them.
