and for the record…this gun will not be worth more than you paid, for a very, very long time…like 30 years man…now if AR's dry up for some reason, then maybe…but being the most popular platform in the US, not anytime soon…I don't own one of these Colts, and honestly, that makes me happy I didn't overpay for something I can build for $1000, and shoot it and enjoy it…will it return on investment? no, but that's why I buy Smith revolvers…prices on the older ones just keep climbing…NIB Model 29, easily out paces this rifle for days…every time they play Dirty Harry, the gun gets harder to find and buy…these…not so much…everyone makes AR's…only one company makes Model 29 Smith revolvers…Colt, Schmolt…they are counting on their name to get what they're asking…seems to be working, just not on me…
Why wouldn't you shoot this? It's not a collector rifle lol It's a replica of an actual collector rifle dude lol. For the money you spent you could have got a good condition actual SP1, Dohhh!
And why would you not fire it? These things should be loved and enjoyed. Plus the M16A1 configuration is just very comfortable to shoot. I'll definitely be putting several rounds through mine. Life's too short to collect museum pieces, and I already have enough guns that i can't fire for physical reasons. Just my $0.02, cheers.

I see on this Colt that the stock is black ….. I just bought a Colt A4 and the stock looks grey or really light black, anyone know the story on this ?
Not sure if colt got the markings wrong, Colt AR 15 and then M16A1? its either one of the two right, correct me if am wrong.
Too bad not a single part is actually made by colt on this one 🙁
Howd that horse cock feel
Buying an AR15 with obsolete furniture is a waste of complete money and time man ur better off getting an A2 ,A4 or M4 replica then this garbage
Looks like a nice rifle but for the price I'll go with a Brownells copy. Keep in mind I love my Colt 1911s…….
Very nice only problem is the modern anodizing. Original had crappy gray anodizing. Lol
Dude I wish I had enough money for that. But shoot it, man that's what its for
Soooo cooll
Hey anyway you could show the BCG a close up of the inside thanks . i have not seen any vids with that much detail . awesome part 2
NICE i want one saving up hope to have one soon .
I would love one but not for 2500$
I’d rather have my Colt A4 with KA M5 rail and an ACOG A4. Almost the same cost as this reissue.

If it ain't got a pony, it's not overpriced…

Very nice I just got mine as well. Fyi you can find the exact same colt mags at cheaperthandirt.com
I really want one now!!
Two words, overpriced quality
Colts aren't the standard anymore tbh still nice guns but so many great companies now, BCM, Daniel Defense, Noveske, Spikes, etc
How is the fit with the upper and lower receivers..is there noticeable slop or it is tight?
Thanks for this video. Made up my mind and I've placed my order.
