As much as I love to see enthusiasm, I personally think it is appropriate to stay as silent as physically possible until you come onto the animal and it is for sure dead.
That rangefinder is one of the worst on the market. A nice looking package thats garbage electronics covered by a good name. I was warned not to buy it and mine lasted one season. It went from ranging over 700 yards to often failing to make 60. Changed the batteries, treated it like gold. Buying Leupold like I should have and was told to.
