  1. try the Sig Sauer elite 77 gr OTM loads with the 77 gr Sierra Matchking bullet.

both my FN ARs love that stuff and both print 5-rd groups of 3/8" at 100 yds with it!

its also some of cheapest match ammo around. i generally pay $21 per box of 20 delivered.

for cheap but extremely accurate ammo i use Norma tac .223 55 gr JHP.
both my FNs have fired several perfect .000" 3-rd and sub 1/8" 5-rd groups at 25 yds with it.

at 100 yds my modded FN 16" M4/RECCE carbine fires a best of 1.125" 5-rd group with the Norma.
and my FN 18" match grade sporter fires 3/4" 5-rd groups with it.
and the Norma stuff is less than 30 cents per round delivered when i buy in bulk!
only a few cents more than crappy steel cased crap!

those are my main two loads.
the Sig OTMs for 100 yd and beyond groups and the Norma JHPs for plinking, practice and 25 yd groups.

  2. Thanks for the vid. Try a wind sock next time. Nice truck, This is a great country. Where else can one train to kill bad guys, With a nice gun. 2nd amendment lives!!!

  3. Hello, I live in northern Nevada, my brothers and I go out and shoot our AR15's all the time, my brother and I both have 16" Barrel AR's, we shoot out to 875 yards all the time, our target is on the side of a hill, so we can see where the bullet hits, and adj. we shoot at a 4" piece of pvc pipe, that is a boundary marker, we aim for the base to seee the bullet strike, but we hit the target moer then 50% of the time, and the misses are very close, so I know an AR15 can make that shot,

  4. To many new age shooters dont know jack. They think irons are for 50y and you have to have a red dot for 100 and anything further needs magnification. Of course tgey called bs.

  5. It's possible, I trust you and I heard it. Continue what you do. I love watching your videos. I'm just about to start my military formation in Canada and you'll be, you and Matt Carriker, my break in the evening.

  6. Excellent. Very nice shooting out to those distances. I'm was proud of my Aimpoint PRO hits out to 480yards-ish…….until I saw this, lol. Keep pushing those distances….always cool to see people hit far targets beyond the cartridge/rifle's intended use(s).

  7. It goes transonic at about 800 but that doesn't mean you can't hit past that range its just a good refferance when selecting a caliber. The ballistic coefficient has a lot to do with how the bullet reacts when it passes through the transonic Zone. That's why the 416 CheyTac did so well when it was originally developed is because the ballistic coefficient allowed it to stay stable as it passed through the transonic Zone. The better the ballistic coefficient usually the better your rounds going to do when it goes through that transonic Zone.
