Chad Larsen from Aero Precision shows us how to install Aero’s popular Atlas AR-15 handguard. The Atlas handguard is designed to be a rock-solid accessory platform that’s also dead-nuts simple to install. A proprietary barrel nut secures the barrel, then the Atlas is cinched down on the barrel nut by a unique, self-centering turnbuckle screw system. OK, there’s a bit more to the installation – and Chad walks us through it. Brownells offers the Aero Precision Atlas handguard in two configurations: the R-ONE with a continuous Picatinny rail on top, and the slimmer-profile S-ONE, with short Picatinny segments on top at the front and rear.
