  1. Great video! Love this … incredible time and money spent on a resource that will serve countless others for a long time. Great selection of red dots here and I think the only one I would be curious to see added would be Israeli-made Mepro RDS to see how it stacks up between the Holosun 510C and EoTech XPS series. I have one at my house and now I'm tempted to send to you for testing as a possible addendum to this Red Dot series. All the best and thanks for putting out great quality content!

  2. Wow…the sound quality is absolute garbage! What a disappointment! Here I thought that I'll be able to see an informative video about the "best bang for the buck" but got an hour long incoherent video of a guy mumbling.

  3. Let me know if you're interested in any other red dots for the next test. I have a few you don't have in this group I would be willing to loan out to you. Plus I have duplicates of you what you have as well if you want more data points.

  4. This video shows an advantage of motion sensing on/off compared to having to press the button after auto off like on the eotechs in the cold dry test like he mentioned. My regular Romeo 5 has been flawless for me

  5. I just bought the matching Vortex 3x magnifier for $150 on eBay to go with my Vortex UH-1 Huey holographic sight. This magnifier easily flips to the right and does an amazing job. This setup cost my half (UH-1 was $450 on Optics Planet) of a the closest eoTech, but goes twice as deep underwater, has a tighter dot in the middle of the reticle (MUCH better than eoTech), and it's really nice to be able to use and recharge a CR123A battery without removing it. I'm a military veteran of the USMC, USN and USA with over 20 years of military experience in both jungles and deserts, and what I can tell you is eoTech does not make a better product than this sight and magnifier than this. But, eoTech does charge twice as much for their inferior products. (Yes inferior…Google the lawsuit eoTech lost…https://topclassactions.com/lawsuit-settlements/closed-settlements/592508-eotech-holographic-weapon-sights-class-action-settlement/) While, granted, the Vortex sights aren't compatible with night vision, as are most eoTechs owned by private citizens aren't, but who really needs it when you can use IR, which works great with Vortex sights and most people's eoTechs. (I know the video game hardened keyboard warriors will tell me they know more than I do and will say they and all their "friends" regularly use their night vision equipment…LOL)

  6. MSE AQC-1 was by far the very best. Unfortunately they went out of business. MSE was the first to have auto sleep and shake awake technology. I own Aimpoint as well as Eotech, but neither beat my MSE. I wish I could find another.
They tried opening and offering another under a different name, but it is not the same.
    Great video.
