  1. I tell my techs to get streamlights. I have two of them but before that i would spend hundreds on flashlights from lowes or harbor freight until I decided to spend the money on a professional one

  2. The stinger is honestly too big. It's super bulky. The strion which I have is crappy because the battery goes quick, it has no mode memory, it gets extremely hot fast, and is as bright as the stinger. Look at other brands such as olight and Fenix or other tactical flashlights. They're much more compact, most are rechargeable, and as just as bright

  3. I’m a new mechanic and I actually use snap on torches I use an under hood lamp a the flip out usb c one and the floodlight for under the car sometimes and I know their expensive but I like the fact that their bright colours so I don’t really loose them and their very convenient I tend to avoid paying weekly by paying them off in full which works for me but I would recommend them to people who can afford them

  4. Streamlights are great, I have a smaller one(ProTac) that I can carry on me when I have my work clothes on, and also an even smaller one(Microstream) that I always carry even when I'm not working.

I will get a Stinger next to try it out and see if I like it

  5. Haha, damn near every tech in my shop owns one of those streamlights. I'm using one of those new flashlights that run on 18650 rechargeables. I guess a few years back options were limited, LEDs weren't as sophisticated as they are now, so streamlights were hard to beat.

  6. I bought a new Snap On ECARB042. I can use it for two 10hr days. It has magnets on the bottom and the side. And it flips open to use the led strip. So you have a spot and flood light. My Stinger Led light is now a decoration lol

  7. Astro pneumatic 40slmax is a much better flash light and half the price. I own a stream light but use the other more often. 60 versus 150 plus. That's how you stay out of debt

  8. I have had good experiences with streamlights like the stinger you recommend from extensive use at my friends shop and the stylus pro that i just recently got my father for fathers day. Personally I have been using an older version of what is now the Olight S2 Baton (MSRP ~49.99) (1x 18650 or 2xCR123A batteries) For any vape guys watching this channel will know the power of 18650 batteries, and having them in supply at home and in the garage I know I will always have fresh batteries. My flash light is able to get into the tighter areas and also fit in my pocket and has 5 brightness settings from about 10-30 lumens all the way up to the 800s or 1000s with a strobe setting. Aluminum body similar to Mags and streamlights, have never had a problem for the years I have been using it.

  9. Is cool to see this kind of videos on your channel. It helps me out a lot since I'm about to start to work in a shop and it gives me idea of what to get. Do you have a video on best ratchets?

  10. Normally I would feel "played" watching a channel more because a pretty girl was added but somehow, in this case, I don't mind at all. She's obviously a sweet heart. Good for you Nestor. (The young lady did well also!)

  11. Good advice Nestor. As a newer mechanic (inspired years ago by you actually) , I discovered that using a regular flashlight, you actually spend MORE burning through Duracel batteries than investing in a solid chargeable flashlight at the start. I was going through a set of batteries every week which adds up quick!
