the protac is cool. ive got an older 2aa protac that i bought maybe 5 years ago and it still works. i highly recommend getting some panasonic eneloop rechargeable batteries and a charger.
the microstream is great. itll actually get up to 300ish lumens if you throw in a 10440 li ion battery in it but it gets way hotter so i try to keep usage under 5min. i actually added some foam under the rubber tailswitch so it turns on and off way easier now as well.
i was pretty big into penlights for a while. the foursevens preon p2 and streamlight stylus pro are my favorites. i have and hate the thrunite ti4.
i like that you get decent runtime and decent output with a pen light. you can get more output from a single aaa light by cheating and running a 10440 but less runtime.
i had to bend the pocketclip on my streamlights to get better retention. almost lost them a few times.
anyways good choice on the protac over the stylus pro. now you have a multi mode light
