I got the exact same kit . My only issue was bolt catch roll pin was crazy tight & grip took quite a bit of
effort. Fun build for me and my daughter.

Pro Jerry-rigging tip: A spent 22Lr case is just the right size to fit the pivot pin hole. Use it to hold on the spring and detent while you push in the pin.

That seems like a decent price considering the furniture. The hard part about getting parts individually is finding everything you want in stock at the fewest possible vendors. Otherwise, the shipping ends up driving up the final cost. Have fun with the build!
Do the first 15 minutes building a model car, and rest of the build refer to car parts as building your rifle. See if it would be past them.
