Having many Milspec M4 stocks, I can’t stand the rattle and shake. Here’s a little idea that will eliminate that movement and give you the tight stock you always wanted.

  1. I went to town on my m4 buttstock. Made my own recoil pad, and precision cheek piece. Just need to take care of that rattle. I'm all about function. For a budget ar15, I feel this is the way to go. No point in putting perfume on a pig.

  2. Tried this and the sticky let go and it just made a mess. The velcro does not stand up to actual use or solvents. Great if you only want to leave it in one position. If you use the collapsing function it does not last.

  3. One solid piece of 3/4" Velcro along the buffer tube top works much better. I have tried it both ways. The small patches are hard to keep in place when moving the stock. The rear swivel also rattles. Place a O ring between the stock and swivel. Reattach the bolt into stock making sure it goes through the O ring. No more noise from swivel.

  4. thanks for this video! It's nice to know trick, that will help eliminate noise on my varmint rifle build till I can afford a magpul ubr stock, want fully collapsible for ergonomics and storage reasons otherwise I would have gone a2

  5. I want to thank you for posting this video. I just ordered a PSA Lower Build Kit that has a Magpul Moe Stock. As you know the Magpul Moe is notorious for their rattle and shake. You just gained another subscriber. Watching your videos is like spending time with a trusted friend.

  6. That's a great idea!! Thanks for sharing. Since my wife and I both shoot and we adjust the stock accordingly, I'm wondering after you've added the strips, how easy is it to readjust the stock?
