I bought a used AR 15 that came with this scope and it didn’t come with a manual for the scope. It also didn’t come with that extra turret. It is also my first scope that ever owned and used. I still don’t know how to use the turrets or how zero in the scope, or if it even needs it. Can you make a video explaining that or direct to a video that does ?
Hey I live in the 704 area where’s that range you shooting at?
Jesus christ your channels grown alot since christmas
no more water bottle, now upgraded to mountain dew bottle.. lmao
Vortex has amazing customer support. they pick up the phone every time i call to ask a question.
I’ve lost the Little wrench that comes with the box. Any one know where I can get a replacement or what size or type so I can buy one?
That center dot looks smaller than 3 moa compared to others
Would you or could you co witness with say Magpul MBUS iron sights? Thanks from a newbie!
I’m having issues with the mount. It will not mount firmly. It slides forward and backwards easily (not from recoil, it literally slides back and fourth), regardless of how tight I screw it on.
How's the Bear Creek Arsenal upper holding up? I purchased one this past week in 300 Black Out and haven't a had the chance to shoot it yet but I will this weekend
Surplus ammo! Tacoma, WA! 🤘🏾
The "cross hairs" ???
1:46 that's what she said!
I may have to give this a try. I'm a fan of Vortex.
So…. This one, or the Monstrum Tactical Marksman 3X30 Prism Scope you reviewed a few months back? This one is twice as much but a WAY better warranty.
I have one of these and LOVE it. the only complaint is that there is a slight magnifying effect when looking through it. that makes it hard to keep both eyes open. oh and water bottle test that beotch.
Great little sight. It’s what I am running on the scorpion
Ncstar flipdot next
I was really interested in one of these. I echo your observations about center dot. For me the center dot was too small to be usable with my poor eye sight.
Well it withstood the water bottle test, I'm in lol
Good review, I've got an astigmatism and I've grown tired of my aimpoints and trying to focus
Thank you so much for doing your detail reviews on the prism scopes on your channel. I have this same prism scope on my ar-15 and it works great, especially with my eyes. I just finished another ar-15 chambered in 7.62×39 and Im looking at the Primary arms 3x prism scope with the 7.62×39/300BO acss reticle. I always crack up with your water bottle tests. They seem to give you the work out! 🙂 Again as always many thanks from the 702!
I like doing business with Optics Planet.
Based on all of the optics evaluations you've done, could you do a video of top optic and runner up in price ranges. Like under $100, 100-150, 151-200 and up to about 500, since you do mostly good budget options. Doesn't mater if it's scope, red dot, prism. Thanks again for a great eval.
Way to go if you need glasses.
I was gonna give you a like but you didn’t hit it with a bottle within 45 seconds of the vid, lol great vid bro!
Vortex makes some great stuff. I just got my Strike Eagle in for the Vepr 308.
If you had $50 to spend on a non-magnified optic, what would you choose?
After watching this video for the second time I realized that this is the newest version of The Vortex Spitfire 1 X prism. I noticed they made some drastic changes to the newer optic, one thing that I was a bit disappointed is that the turret caps are no longer tethered like they did with the first model it's not a game-changer or deal-breaker but it would be nice to have kept that feature. Just wanted to say thanks for enlightening me to the new version of this optic. If you get a chance check out this link: https://youtu.be/2-CUWJXyET0
Had to thumb this one down.. No mention of cost and no demonstration of reticle features or how it appears to the shooter..
