Some weird questions in here lol just like any gun if you take care of it, it will last. This rifle can be upgraded in many ways including the gas block, sights, stock, trigger, grips, etc. It is chambered for 5.56 NATO which is the military round. It can also shoot 223 Remington which is the sporting round. Just in case you didn't know (:
