  1. I have purchased six uppers from Ceratac. Their customer service has been first rate and their uppers have all functioned flawlessly. They have followed up instantly on every query. I sent back an upper kit to have them double check the specs and it was back in a couple of days. Bill and the rest of the service peeps can either answer your questions directly or they get back to you. That is why I have purchased additional uppers and fire control groups from them. They have out-performed my Anderson uppers.

  2. I have been trying to get ahold of this company but I left several messages and they never have called me back I even emailed them and no response so how Can I get ahold of them to buy a rifle

  3. What email address do you use to reach them? I've been emailing them for weeks (sales@ceratac.com) and never get an answer.

For quite a while, the carbine kits were out of stock. So, when they were back in stock I jumped on it, but the lowers and lower parts kits were still out of stock. I figured I would order the lower parts and lower separately when they came back in stock. Now their site shows the carbine kits have the lowers and lower parts kits, but the individual pages for the lower and lower parts still show out of stock. WTF? I don't want to have to buy a whole other kit to get the lower and parts and I really would like to complete the kit with Ceratac parts.

LOTS of reviews say their parts are good quality considering the price, but that their customer service sucks. If they can't take care of existing customers, eventually their rep will catch up with them and sales will drop off also.

  4. Guys DPMS currently has a deal going on their Oracle its about 400 or so after mail in Rebate.
I didn't order a cheap one though I got a bit better one long ago and I can tell you DPMS is a decent brand.
I dont know I would trust an AR for 275 It might shoot sure but at 55 yards your grouping is really high. Most ARs are sighted in at 100 yards so being already high at 55 is not what I would expect from a reliable AR platform. Its almost the High point of ARs.
I would recommend ordering an Oracle from DPMS they are ready to go for 100 yards+ Just buy a cheap set of irons.
Optics are a bitch I want a trijicon so bad but its way out of my league price wise, Costing more than the weapon.

  5. I ordered a carbine kit (carbine length gas system).

I received a mid-length rifle that was short stroking constantly and could not even manage to lock back on the last round of a magazine.

I emailed, called and left several voicemails, but was never contacted by ceratac.

Take your money elsewhere as the headache you get here is not worth it.

They also deleted my first review on this item…

  6. Only comment I have about this company is they need more options. Seems they only offer .223/5.56. They need to either offer the kits in at least 300BLK and 9mm OR make an a la carte option, so for example I could get a pistol kit without a barrel and pick up a 300BLK barrel elsewhere

  7. DO NOT BUY FROM CERATAC!!!!! I was very excited to order from them and now it's been 2 weeks with ZERO response but they took my money within minutes of ordering it but they absolutely DO NOT ANSWER PHONE CALLS OR REPLY TO EMAILS I've called and emailed multiple times with ZERO answer can't even leave a message because all mailboxes are full I really want to believe this a good company but now I feel like I will have to not only report to BBB but also fight them to get my money back. I hope ceratac sees this and try to make it right I hate when I have to get mean

  8. I bought a carbine from Ceratac 2 weeks ago and it has failure to feed, double feeds, and failure to eject issues. Its either the bcg or its undergassed. I paid them to complete the upper. Ive left multiple voicemails and sent multiple emails to Ceratac and have had ZERO response from them for a week now. I'm stuck with a piece of shit that won't shoot more than a single bullet at a time. Know that if you buy from them and something does go wrong, you're on your own. It is REALLY not worth the savings because Im going to end up spending $$$ at a gunsmith just to get this thing functional. If youve read this far, Ive already tried multiple brands of mags and 7 different brands and types of ammo both 223 and 556. Im stuck with a piece of shit non function AR.

  9. Did you have any issues with the handguard lining up flush with the upper? Mine is off by a little and I can’t figure out why. This is the second upper they have sent me like this. It’s my first ar so maybe this is normal but the rails are off across the top.

  10. I'm going to get one of the pistol kits, I already have a carbine so I'll just switch the lower between the two unless I can get another quality lower fairly soon, but anybody who wants any of this better get it soon, the communists in our country, disguised as liberals, are going their best to ban all this. Fight them every step of the way!
