Pay to send it back! That's disappointing to hear from Streamlight. I have several Streamlight products I've had for years and they've all been good so far. Customer Service seems crappy.
I would think they would at least cover shipping.! Keep customer happy and coming back should be company motto for all !!🤔
Come on Streamlight!! You know there’s an issue and the customer has to spend more money to correct. That’s poor customer service in my book!

Mine does the same thing. I heard others say theirs was the same. So I never looked into it anymore. I got mine when first released months ago. I can’t activate the light one handed so it got thrown in a drawer and never messed with it since. Supposedly they are updating the controls and releasing a different style.
I've had mine for around 1.5 month, and u just checked mine, and mine was good to go. 👍
Streamlight knew there was an issue with the light and you have to pay to send it back. Now that's crappy customer service.
Problems
When ever I buy a product and it malfunctions I usually get my money back or get rid of it. Don’t have the time or energy for it to fail on me if it’s a life threatening situation or it’s your only light source then your in the dark. Sorry it happened to you but you see a lot more malfunctions now these days.Quality check in company’s have gone out the door. It’s all about making more quantities and less quality.

Doing without would not bother me as much as having to send it back and paying for the shipping on a known issue. That is crazy customer service…..
A company that won’t pay to ship it back when it’s their issue, drop that company from your list to buy from.
