Capo Jay tagged me and asked me, what is my bedside Gun Setup? Essentially, I use a M&P 45 ACP with a Streamlight TLR-1 (HL) High Lumen. I think this rig is awesome and can be easily utilize by myself as well as my wife. The M&P pistols are very reliable and dependable as well as many products from Streamlight. I would definitely depend my life to this rig and it is highly recommended to others. Thanks for watching, comment below and God Bless!

  1. Cool Choice Sir But you Still need a Hand Held flash light the reason why if you only have the Wepon light do you want to clear a room that mite have your kids in it with that light it would mean pointing the wepon at them not good man you need a hand held light for just that no problem with the wepon light i have one but i also have a hand held light by it at night it is a real big problem if your only light sorce is on the wepon are you going to take it of to use it to search a room NO YOUR NOT to meany people blow this off and think all i need is the gun with the light on it and there wrong

  2. I shot the M&P9c and the trigger could be better.I know most don't like it, but it really didn't bother me at all.Great feel to the 9C, not sure if i'll buy one since i own a Shield but you never know.

  3. Concerning Colt's filing for bankruptcy I believe it's b/c they  got out of touch with the economic needs & wants of their potential customers. Many people are struggling to meet the basic food/Rent/mortgage/utility/Insurance health/car/house & some
cannot even meet their expenses no matter hard they work.
I live in New York City with about 10 million other people & know what the people are dealing with first hand.
They want & need to purchase a firearm but b/c they are on a string budget they just cannot afford to lay out 500-1000 no less afford the license to purchase/carry/resident permit & other fees.
Economic conditions are more likely to get worst then better.
Every firearm maker should have a decent & reliable  LOW cost shooter in their line up.                                               Maranatha

  4. Great video as usual bro, I have to agree a good handgun is what I would go with for a bedside gun. A shotgun and/or rifle are great for defense but for me those are used as defensive weapons for siege type situation. For a home invasion I would also prefer the light equipped handgun for maneuverability in QCB type situations.  A light equipped handgun in 9mm – .45 caliber will definitely handle the situation while also giving you the maneuverability needed in tight quarters (also gives you the ability to scoop up a child or move another person out of the way without having to drop your weapon or let it hang from a sling). The handgun will also have less penetration…meaning that it will probably stop in bodies and if you miss probably have a lesser chance of penetrating the walls of your home and entering neighboring homes and potentially harming innocent people.  As far as the numb skulls that say a female cannot handle a .45 caliber pistol goes…just ask my 5'9" 125 lb wife about that…she can shoot a 1" hole in a target at 50 yards with my 1911 no problem!!! (Our EDC and bedside guns are both G19's I am just saying the 1911 causes my wife or daughters no problems what so ever…My  daughters can shoot even better with anything from .22 to .45)    As far as my suggestions to what sites to put on your M&P I would suggest X-cess Big Dot 24/7's. They have all of the quick site alignment of regular big dot sites with tritium inserts for low or no light applications.  Granted with the TLR-1 on your gun that would be considered redundant but there could be times that you chose not to deploy the light and still need a good sight picture. Watch your six and keep a spare mag handy!
Also a big shout out to my bro Capo Jay for inspiring this VR!

  5. Love that light man I use the same one for my bedside piece. Like the m&ps myself but man HK got me hooked especially .45s. Stupid accurate, last a lifetime, ultra soft shooting, and service intervals recommended every 20000 rds not 5000!!!! Man if you haven't shot a USP or HK 45 you gotta check one out you may ditch the M&P lol. You'll see some deals of them used online 500-600 bucks and they'll last a lifetime. Great vid and good choice too though.
