Shooting long strings of fire can really heat up a rifle chamber and barrel, which has the potential to cause inconsistent ballistic performance of precision loaded ammunition. A product called BarrelCool has been brought to market to address the issue of hot rifle chambers and barrels. It is a unique, patent pending, product that combines the safety of a chamber flag and a fan to cool your barrel on your rifle. In this episode the 6.5 Guys take a closer look at this product.
More information about the product can be found at the manufacturer’s website:

I use one in F-class. It works fine.
would be nice if it used a regular battery over the expensive battery
I agree, cause I'm neurotic, concerning worry over shooting grit and dirt down the barrel. Question…any link I can hit or do you know of mile ranges in USA? I'm in Jersey and had to go down South to crack a mile. I have the set-up for it.
only in the usa !… dont ship it to eu plz ;o)
That price seems high. I would be more willing to pay 19.95 plus free shipping but wait how about doubling my order if I order in the next 15 minutes.
I think that a can of compressed air would cool quicker and be more convenient.
I like that its usable in a bolt gun and an AR type rifle. I've seen some that do one but not the other.
