*NOTE – the Trump mask was a PROP, NOT a TARGET!!! Follow-up video to the cheap PTAC $299 complete AR-15 rifle kit from Palmetto State Armory, minus the lower, video that I made last month. Viewers complained it wouldn’t last more than 100 rounds and that a forward assist is necessary. Will it blow up after 6 1/2 full mags? Shooting fidget spinners in slow mo too!

  1. Hi Dirt
I built 2 PSA kits. One was the M4 and the other full length. They are great rifles. I have over a 1000 rounds through the M4 and have never had a malfunction firing TulAmmo steel case. Mine have the forward assist and brass deflector. I used 80% forged lowers I machined. Got them on sale for $35.00. I just bought there 10.5 " pistol kit which I have to put together. I bought the Chinese knock off mbus sights and they are great also $10.00. For under $350.00 for a AR you can't beat it. I like your vids.

  2. What kind of red dot is that? I'm buildimg onr of these as well amd I'm looking to put one on, but don't wanna spend a lot on a red dot for such a cheap build. Do u recommend the one u have here in the video or something different?

  3. The forward assist otherwise known as the panic button you'll never use it if you keep your gun clean and you're just plinking at the range or even hunting but when you're in a firefight and you've ran a thousand rounds through that gun and you still got a long long way to go before you can stop break down and clean it or even run a knotted boot lace down the barrel that forward assist can be a lifesaver

  4. i'm getting one of these kits for sure. will be my first AR-15, and probably only one cause i'm a cheap ass. gonna pair it with a 3d printed lower receiver which i'm printing now to test on my buddies AR.

  5. Just found ya.
I built my first And second ARs thru PSA. Zero issues. 16" "door kicker" as well as my version of a mk12. Both were 500 each or less.
    ZERO FTF or FTE.
Not sure why folks give them a hard time. Id rather a 500 dollar that is reliable and accurate and have some extra to load feed it than 2k for a rifle thats marginally better at the range…maybe.
Even a "gucci" company like bcm or larue can turn out a dog gun sometimes. I prefer a conservative investment.
Thanks for the PSA review. Prost!

  6. Cool Rifle, good shooting also. When My Son leaves for USMC Boot Camp, I am going to finish building His lower, then Buy a basic M4 Style Upper so I can issue Him a Rifle he can keep. I have seen some good deals lately. Good Video Sir

  7. Dirt Road Gun Show, I recently saw this advertised on PSA and the description said it was 4.3 pounds, minus the stripped lower of course. I have shoulder and elbow issues so weight is a factor to me. You commented on your original video for this rifle that is was light but did you actually weigh it and get the 4.3 lbs as advertised?

  8. Had a full PSA PTAC M4. All Mil Spec. Got the upper and lower on the weekend deals marked as blemished but never found a blemish anywhere on it and it shot great and was accurate. Again mine was 100% Mil Spec unlike the one in this video. Cost was $550. Never had one issue out of it. It was great. I might get another one again as a backup gun for this price.
