Do you have a Commercial or Mil-Spec buffer tube? You need to know if you want to swap your buttstock.

Does the receiver dictate the commercial vs milspec buffer tube? Or can I replace my commercial buffer tube with a milspec buffer tube?
Mine is 1.125 inches which one is it
Can i put a comercial complete lower on a m&p sport 2 upper?
15-22 ? No need for a mic drop?!
Solid video. Covers the question and straight to the topic. Excellent 👍👍
Good Information…Thanks !!
The problem i am having is that i am a larger guy and my "pull" is longer than what the standard Magpul stock will accommodate. This makes it uncomfortable and difficult for me to get the best site alignment on my AR-15. Is there some kind of Longer Buffer Tube or buffer tube extension that i can put on my carbine to make the best and most comfortable use of my optics???
I like the end, he says I hope you enjoyed that. Same thing I say to my girlfriend.
Something I should add about the 'mil-spec' tube is that most mil spec diameter tubes aren't mil spec. Most aren't made of 7075 T6 aluminum.
Do you know how to pick a buffer tube that works smoothly or how to fix one that is rough and noisy? The one in a Bushmaster stock is the only one I've seen that is smooth and quiet but the one that came in a DPMS kit of parts is very noisy and the one that came in the parts for the lower from Tacticalsht is very rough and noisy and seems to be binding. I've tried greasing the buffer and spring but the machining work on the inside must be too rough. Could the inside be sanded smooth somehow?
do both use the same spring and piston??
Thanks ,good info to keep handy.
isn't there also an issue with the back of the buffer tube being welded on vs. the whole tube being one solid piece? This is only what I heard and was told mine was crap because you could faintly tell the end was a separate piece.
Love the vids man keep it up!
Thanks I didn't know that.
