Now you have to have a 100 yd zero or your not allowed on the range.
i came by to see if that booty jiggles
Nice video.good instruction and great shooting.😎🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Natural point of ain👌🏾 Hell yeah Brother Kill!
Great Video Brother! Thank you.
I was zeroing my Colt LE6920. One of the neighbors called the cops on us. When the sheriff showed up and started questioning me about what i was doing. He was like your gonna be off at 100 yards. I told him "this is how my Drill Sergeant taught me to zero my rifle when i was in basic training and he has never been wrong about anything in his life you can call him and ask him!" The cop had no clue what he was talking about!
Dont blacken polymer front sights
Thanks 🙏🇺🇸
Thanks for video you guys..Best wishes for you two!
Huh. She seems fun.
thanks!! got my first ar recently, after many years of carrying/firing only handguns.
think this will help me a lot.
Reid, do you have to start at mechanical zero?
what the hell a rred dot doing on your rifle? if your zeroing an iron sight.
No graph charts, no math formulas, just straight easy to the point of how to zero iron sights.
what about zero at 75 yard
You rock
Duh!!
Great video. A big help.
I use the same method, though I start with a bench rest, and a AR front sight tool. was using the same Magpul MBUS, but switched to Magpul MBUS Pro LR. has an elevation adjuster for shots past 200 yds. Awesome rear sight cost more that the MBUS but worth its weight in gold(also doesn't spring up like the MBUS but does fold down for a lower profile.SOLID. Nice Work on video!!
One of THE BEST Explanations Of Natural Point Of Aim I’ve EVER Heard & I had GREAT D.I. BRM instructors at the U.S.Army INFANTRY SCHOOL, C/6 BN/1 ITBde, Sand Hill, Ft Benning, GA. “HOOAH..!!!”🇺🇸
Outstanding PMI presentation.
I just discovered your videos, great job..
Two years ago I watched this video to zero my first firearm. Reid, you are a fountain head of practical information. We know you have a Ph.D. in firearms yet you are so good at breaking it down for the rest of us.
Hey man. Really enjoy and learn a lot from your videos. I’m trying to decide on an mp sport 2 vs waiting saving more buying a bravo upper and a lower later. May be only ar I ever buy. Interested in any pros or cons you have on either. Thank you for your service. God bless.
Genius.
HI, That's a nice sharing by the way just one question about the term "Sight Radius" that's confusing, because radius is usually referred for a circle or circular objects. Half of a diameter of a circle is it's radius. Why do we use the term "Sight Radius" here? Does that make any imaginary circle like thing on weapon or what?
Thank you.
I am new to the AR15 platform as I have been shooting AK's most of my life and Zeroing in is much harder on a AR than I thought it would be.
Great video.
Both videos are well done…thanks
You lowered the elevation and that caused to to move to the right when it was centered for the first three shots? Did I miss something?
Can I do this at the range with a bipod and have similar success? No access to an outdoor range
I appreciate your super troopers reference, meow
Your such a humble man and a great teacher. God bless you brother!
Thank you, Reid!
Thumbs up for Patriot Nurse's cute butt! LOL! Kidding… great video though.
Hi Reid, do you suggest a 50yd zero for .308 too? Thanks
A torch lighter won't blacken anything since the flame's so clean. You need something like a Zippo or a candle, something that burns with a dirty flame and produces soot.
Glen Danzig?
Thank you sir never would have found this out on my own
Your killing that sight spring each time you hit it with that torch. When you go to shoot and the sight is gone due to spring failure with no tension and it screws out on its own, I bet you stop with that torch
Thats great: I just bought an AR 15 and no one told me any of this. Thanks a ton
Good video, thanks.
Why does the military use a 25 target?
Why is holding the trigger to the rear so important. I see people doing this more and more…..I've never done that…the trigger breaks and I'm getting set for the next round.
I've never heard anyone tell me which aperture to use….thanks Reid.
My AR trigger doesn't have slack??? Any ideas I bought it 2nd hand.. is it a aftermarket product???
What rear sights do you prefer for the ar-15 I have an mbus and my aperture is slammed to the right..
This dude is rad.
