Edit: mine was a 4150 chrome-moly-vanadium barrel that was nitrided. All in all the upper was 239 SHIPPED and the lower 129 SHIPPED SMDH you cant beat that wit a stick helluve price for avery good rifle. CHEERS From DALLAS!
I just ordered this exact upper on Aug 9th 2018 and received it on the 15th…also ordered the complete classic lower from PSA also received the same day at my FFL. 1st AR and im HIGHLY PLEASED, will irder again from these guys 👍👍👍
Both the upper and lower receivers are anodized, the blem on that PSA is the anodizing, that it came out way to shiny, i have one blem PSA thats identical and super shiny, that itself is the blem.

the anderson lower + psa upper combo is a classic budget build. the moe furniture is typical too. nothing to hate on, bet its a solid rifle especially for the price

I've got the complete PSA freedom classic in gray and am quite happy with it.
Travis, I have almost the exact same set up (PSA freedom upper and LPK, Anderson lower, MOE stock and grip, even a carry handle,) only mine is a carbine. I put it together just before the last presidential election for around $500, and I thought that was an amazing price then. If you would have told me that I'd be able to build a decent AR for less than the price of a Canik, I would have thought you were crazy. Great job, and great deal, my friend.
