so I have a light of the sight but it dose not reflect in the glass the light is on
The elevation screw broke on mine and it came out of place I'm was wondering if there's anyway you can show me how it goes inside. Thank you
that's a clone
not eotech
Does anyone have a link to a circuit diagram?
what are the specs for the LED you used? I'm planning on doing this for my XPS clone, and I don't want to do all the work only to realize that I got the same LED that was installed. Any tips on voltage capacity, recommended lumens, etc?
My eotech replica dont adjust the elevation. What it can be?
I hope that this may help people, yet my EOTech clone smelled burnt and wouldn't turn on from day one so I decided to open it up. A small part in the board had burnt and exploded, half the board was char black with melted wire covering.
My strike systems Hilo sight broke. Or, the adjuster did. What should I do ? When I try make the sight go down on the side, it won't go longer down than to the middel. How can I fix :)?
is it possible to remove the lenses?
Thank you…very helpful video. I was able to repair my son's eotech.
And the opening song? Is that LP?
Do you know where i can find replacement mounting hardware for these?
lol i hear the opening music, and then i hear nothing…
HI there. I broke the front lense of my Holo sight. Is there a way or a place where I could go to repair it?
is it possible to remove the lenses?
dear friend, I faced with same problem, solution is you should buy the screw same size and length but it's right hand thread in the market any hard ware shop. And you go to see the machine tool mechanic, cut the original screw head from after key line and weld with new right hand thread screw. Then modify the original nut to right hand thread. It's easy to modify because made by copper. Be careful do not tight 2 much the both screw again..Enjoy..
Due to the fact these sights are copies and cheap ones at that, My sight is missing a screw head and to be honest the material used for the screws is very brittle. So it could be just that it has snapped on the inside of the sight. You would need to open it to see.
Any vids you can link where they do this type of a fix? Im having the same problem something isnt threading properly or is stripped and the screw to adjust up/down isnt doing its job. Just wondering if i can fix this myself without gutting the internals or if its better to just buy a new one
Sounds like the circuit board underneath your interface is malfunctioning, might be able to get a new one or it could be an electrical issue with the board itself such as a short from dust or something
I'm no pro but it just sounds like something has come loose, you would need to open it and check everything is where it should be, also replace the batteries with new ones and see if it is still happening, a dying battery can do strange things to electronics.
PLEAS I NEED HELP! After an afternoon game my EOTech suddenly would turn on by it self! and the off/decrease brightness button would function as the on button!!!! it is extremely annoying to check on the sight everyday to see if it would not turn on by itself again please! I need help!
possibly, as it only happens when you dry fire it could be the vibration from the dry fire that is knocking something loose, the batteries for example, but then why is it not doing it on normal fire?i would open it and check that the wiring is in fact OK and if you need to re solder the connections.
when i dry fire my AEG after my mag runs out of BBs my EOtech 553 shuts off. this also happens when i dry fire due to a miss feed. would re-sauntering the wires fix this problem? i think they are loose in there.
Hi guys,
I wonder if you can give me a little advice on how to fix my replica Eotech. Firstly, I use a WE CQBR GBB and everytime I fire my weapon, my Eotech's radical changes from red to green and then when I fire for the second time the radical goes really dim.
I press the right button to make the radical bright again, it'll go dim straight after I fire the weapon again, it's now starting to turn on with I fire the rifle when it's off.
I think it is just a standard screw, this treads through a grommet that moves side ways as it is turned.
can you please help me!
My holo 552 doesn't work right!
The screw were the red dot can go up and down, the first screw on the right sight, break and i can't find this screw in the web!!!!
It is a left-hand thread screw!!!
Do you know where i can buy it!!
Without it my holo wont work!!!
Please help me! Thank you!
do you mean a protective screen for the glass? if so they can be bought online, try ehobbyasia / airsoftpark / airsofteire there are many different types. or do you mean something else?
where u get protective cover? how does it work??
GREAT vid… helped me a lot!
keep up the good work!
Hi TripFate, you will have to open it and move by hand I'm afraid, it's easy enough to do.
Hi Terri, mine is still going after this repair and that was over a year ago.
does the eotech clones break easily like they shut off forever or is that just some wise tail
holy late response. I gutted the entire thing, put a button cell battery in it and a on off switch with a super bright LED. it just has on or off. no brightness up or down anymore, if its on its just default the highest brightness.
any chance you can share what you did with yours?
sorry for not responding, yeh it should be a case of just undo the screw and replace with a new one if you can source one.
its been a while since i had it open nigel but as far as i can remember no they dont cross over.
I have a problem with one of mine. One of the screws on the adjustment screws bent, while I was adjusting it. Is it an easy fix? Is the screw replaceable?
I think you have the same problem as mine, I made it fixed, so it won't be moveable, but it worth a lifetime.
so, I just took out the two springs under the body and replace it with papers. from sheets to sheets u will be able to make it as accurate as possible.
if you have put enough papers, try to re-build it and use it, if it's too high or too low, just redo the previous steps till it's zero.
Thanks, I can fix mine now, but the problem was the ring on the vertical zeroing device was broken. But I've made it fixed and with a little help from my father on the circuit. Thanks AGM.
È presente un gas nei vetri all'intero?
yeah today i just ripped out the circuit board and threw it away. then just rewired it my own way so it is nice and bright.
double check your wiring and connections, look at the green circuit board for burnt circuits or components
i have this same sight, but i think it got shorted out. I rewired it to use button cell batteries but today i think the wiring touched and now it doesn't work correctly and the buttons do not function right. Is there any way to fix this?
