I built a custom AAC 300 Blackout AR-15 using some of the highest quality components available. Lower is a forged Advanced Armament 300 engraved piece that was stripped. Upper is also from Advanced Armament and is billet. Hand guard is a M-LOK from HM Defense. The barrel (1/8 twist stainless steel fluted) is also from HM as is the gas block. The BCG is from WMD and is nickel boron coated. The stock is the UBR from Magpul. It has an Ergo Grip in black along with a Tac-Con 3MR trigger. The back up sights are Magpul MBUS flip ups and the red dot is a Trijicon RX34. Bottom rails are from VISM and attached to them is a Magpul AFG. There are Magpul Cantilevers on either side of the handguard. There’s a Raptor charging handle and the entire gun was dura-coated in Tungsten Grey.
Dam good job bro
O my that thing is PURDY !!!
Beautiful AR love the grey I would however lose the chrome/stainless muzzle only cause it's reflective not cause it doesn't look badass.
nice build, love the combination
Could you elaborate on the paint job, looks really good
Very nice rifle brother. Good video and info.
Giessele or Bfs 3 aka the binary fusion triggers are the fastest firing im pretty sure. The Bfs 3 fires every pull and reset so basically like double tap in real life
Sweet rifle, but I dig the Hublot..
nice gun fucked up state. ..
A kns anti rotation anti walk pin set would probably look awesome on your build especially the set they call the "spykes" set and it's only about a $30 investment and in the long run saves your lower pins from eating into the frame and having a loose trigger group, it is a good investment and looks cool!
Franklin armory has a similar double trigger they call the "binary trigger" at a much more affordable price.
Nicest 300blackout that I've seen. Love the Tungsten Grey color as well!
I'd take this trigger over the echo any day. Beautiful rifle man.
What is the purpose of the 'bullet button'? I live in a free state, and am not required to have odd little doo dads.
Also. minus the optic, what did the total parts to build, set you back? I like your design, color scheme etc. Looks great!
Does duracoat require baking and can it be applied over a Nickel teflon/anodized upper?
Good looking build, how does it shoot?
get that echo trigger
I'm 99% sure that the "positive reset" on the trigger does not chamber and fire another round. I have seen these triggers before. All it does is assist with the reset….as you said, it is a "positive reset." The trigger assists the shooter by shortening the reset travel, but it does NOT send another round through the barrel upon reset. Here is TacCon's product description for the 3MR……
NEVERMIND. You were talking about the Echo Trigger when you said that. You are right. I was trying to figure out how the TacCon 3MR trigger did double taps like you explained. My bad.
it looks reel puurty..
that color is amazing
New video is up guys. Link in the description
@chivalry35 you're right, i forgot. All in all with the new components I'll be showing off tomorrow, I'm fully invested at just over $2800. I'll break down the costs on tomorrow's video
I missed how much the project cost
Pete, I'm updating the lower on Tuesday. Will upload another video then.
Hi David, stunning gun! Is there any chance you could upload some pics of the gun as I'm wanting to build an airsoft replica of this. Thanks.
Lol, love it!
It was listed on gunbroker from AntaresArms.com
Where did you get the billet upper from? Good looking gun btw
For anyone looking for a custom 300 Blackout, I built another that's for sale: https://www.armslist.com/posts/5927287/sacramento-california-rifles-for-sale–new-custom-ar-15-300-blackout-16–tungsten-ca-compliant
It was my mistake. Vendetta precision is where the muzzle was from. Not sure what I was thinking lol
Gorgeous!!!!! You did a beautiful job!! Love that muzzle brake…….are you sure it came from Precision Armament (Arms)? I don't see anything on their website like that. Thanks for the help.
Yes sir. Pretty easy. I've assembled 4 more since lol
You assembled it your self..
Not yet. Only fired 50 rounds through so far and I'm drastically going to alert the rifle to go with a cerakote finish. The upper, lower, and handguard are going to be replaced. I can say that it's the smoothest shooting rifle I've ever experienced. That being said, I've owned a Krebs custom AR-15, SCAR 17s, ACR, LMT 308, Krebs AK, Kel-Tec RFB, HK G36, and much more.
Have you had problems with your zero, being you have your optic not solely on the upper receiver?
Thank you! Updated video and review upcoming. Made a few changes.
