I've shot over 50K of Wolf and Barnaul lacquer and the polymer ammo through several ARs 10.3, 12.5, 14.5, and 16" over the last decade. I simply shoot some lube in the chamber and have had no issues at all. That also includes a couple of 1500-2000 round count 3-day carbine courses a year.
Good looking pistol. My AR rifle runs steel for a couple hundred rounds and then the cases start getting stuck in the chamber. Haven’t tried steel in my AR pistol yet.
There is no lacquer or polymer or any shit on steel case ammo. It's that the steel case ammo will expand in the chamber and not contract like brass case ammo does. Therefore it will be harder for the extractor to pull the case out of the chamber. It has nothing to do with any film on the steel casing.
The secret to shooting Tula ammo… CLEAN YOUR CHAMBER. (Personally though I hand load brass case ammo. Much more accurate and a bit cheaper but take a long time)
Northern MN here, 2K+ Tula thru my 7in pistol (PSA Barrel/upper, Anderson lower, Toolcraft BCG, $350 built w/o Shockwave and optics) not one issue at all so far, just wants to eat ammo, favorite of all firearms I have, Law Tactical folder next
yes radical uppers are just as good as most inexpensive uppers like palmetto….but people who bought full radical firearms sometimes have issues with other parts….i have 3 radical uppers no problem at all after firing about 50 rounds for each LOL
I don't think my A.R. pistol has ever eaten anything except cheap steel most AARs that won't run steel cased the chambers are just too tight and out of spec and you've got to love the flame thrower affect these things have what did we get out of mine like 4 feet on each side

Have you ran it in the summer and ran it hard?
My db-15 with a 7.5in barrel shoots Tullammo great probably 500+ of it with other brass as well and no failures

Ar 15 pistol esp in 7.5" is basically a 22 wmr
It’s polymer not paint on Tula ammo dude…
doesnt half the powder blow out of the barrel killing the velocity? .22 is dependent on velocity.
Rear sight needs to be in the last notch….

Exact build I'm doin
Built 2 wish I could get Steel case in my 7.5" 300 blackout All my 5.56/223 run Steel case perfectly
I'm getting mine soon. 💎 back
Ya, those are not lacquer covered, the wolf, Tula, all of the modern runs are covered with a thin film of polymer.
does sbr barrel length on lets say a 308 really matter concerning reliability???
I hate Tulammo because the poly coat melts….but with all that snow I don't think you the same problem.
They haven't used that lacquer on steel case for years now.
Steel

somewhat acc acr,
ar pistol will run tulammo sometimes it won't charge right but will go
sweet gun dude
Due to the short barrel, would the AR pistol be better in 300 blackout ?
Looking at making or purchasing an AR pistol.

My SBR and all my other ARS eat steel case Ammo like if it was going out of style. Lol 😂
I got lucky with my radical upper it runs great as well.
Great tip, I have had some stick before
love the AR pistol awesomeness thanks for all the inspiration bro
The truth….?
YOU CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH!!!
What's all that white stuff? I'm in Arizona. It was 72 degrees today.
Every one of my AR's like Tula..The keyword is one" because that's all i have..lol Good to see ya Predawn
Thanks for the shout out. I need to make some vids…
Every AR I own eats steel cased ammo like a fat kid eats cake.
All I ever shoot is the tulammo and it's not lacquer on the tulammo, it's a polymer layer. some companies still do use lacquer though.
Needs to build me one. Was going to but used that money to buy a fucking AK. YUCK.
My stag rips the lip off the shell casing…
all my ar works with stellcase
it goes bang.
