This is a dynamic shooting drill or “run n gun” as some people call it. The drill was set up in a way that tests different shooting techniques and tactics – shooting from cover, left to right transitions, shooting from a low small opening, transitions from pistol to rifle and so on.

umm why are you switching hands to change sides? its called shoulder bumping, its a lot faster and you retain natural grip placement.

in a defencive situation you are never ever going to have time to see if a round is in the chamber when you know the weapon put one there.
if it didn't you have a malfunction ahead of time and no point of checking which means your gun is not properly maintained.
Really good training.. Only thing I suggest is take cover when you are reloading. You are standing straight up where you were shooting at. Just get in the habit of taking cover while reloading instead of just standing straight up. Other than that good training. Be safe.

Good flow. Minus points for mag changes with no cover. Yes its drill/ training, but muscle memory can be your friend and also your enemy.

anyone who says that The AR operator is slow I would bet hasn't ever tried that or any other type of tactical exercise. I would feel lucky to have that guy covering my ass or any of the rest of the team for that fact.
