I finally was able to mount the Nikon Buckmaster 3-9×40 scope to my Springfield 1903-A3 rifle to sight it in and test it out. The day at the range was was chilly and quite rainy. The scope sighted in quickly, adjusted easily, and should no adverse affects in the rain or the cold. I look forward to using it this deer hunting season when winter finally arrives, as so far it seems to have performed quite admirably in bad conditions.

Shouldn't be resting barrel. It's free float for a reason
Hi! Don't use the rifle rest with the barrel, I think it modifies the accuracy.
