  1. You're welcome, anytime brother.
Going from light to light, we tend to get used to a beam color temp. I personally like a nice warm tint because it seems to bring out more definition in color depth to my eyes. When I do my photography I always go for a warmer or neutral light… cooler temps play hell with my composition most of the time.
Thank you for the compliment, I appreciate it. =)

  2. Yes it's pretty normal, some have a warmer tint, some cooler… so yellows and greens would be warm to cool and blues would be cool all the way. Really depends on several factors, but to answer your question, yes it's normal.

  3. Yes indeed… I wanted to try that one out eventually too.
I can live with 48 lumens for 6 hours and some change… not bad at all.
You're welcome, anytime my friend… always glad to help. =)

  4. @X4CTO I also see theres a new C4 version for this year it has 48 lumens but trimmed down the run time down to 6.25 hours, still not bad. anyway, thanks again for helping me make up my mind.

  5. Well I think you'll like it… I love mine, I have about 5 of them all over the house and in the car, everywhere, haha! Great little lights. I agree… I love my LD20 as well, but I carry the Stylus Pro more than just about any other light I have.

  6. Yes you can indeed, but even when it rubs the case it doesn't really hurt the finish bad at all… I've had mine for a couple of years now and the finish is not destroyed under it at all. It's a pretty durable coating I would say.

  7. My dad heads up the Avionics shop over at Gulfstream. I've been around airplanes all my life.

Yeah I think the lens cover is plenty strong, just maybe it will scratch easier… but mine hasn't so far and I'm not really easy on the light… so maybe it's not as prone to scratching as I thought.

  8. I fly those little 50 seat jets I'm sure you hate to ride on. Although I was working on my home portable generator and not an aircraft gen. (no idea how to do that). Good info about the lens cover not being glass by the way. I never gave that much thought til now. I'll keep an eye on that.

  9. I love the stylus pro. Use it every day at work. Very capable. The beam is strong and tight enough to preflight the tail of good sized jet. Light enough to hold in your teeth in a pinch. (had to do a rush carb cleaning on my generator last night when the power went out in a storm).

  10. Well honestly… you are already looking at my favorite tiny EDC light for that price range… the Maratac AAA or AA, either stainless or aluminum… both are great. The Maratac AAA closely competes for my pocket with my long time favorite Fenix LD01. I have a review of the Maratac AAA (aluminum) coming up very soon in which I compare the two.

  11. Thank you bro.
I think everyone likes this little Streamlight… what's not to like about it?
It's compact, lightweight, good battery life, good price, tough, etc. Although I do wish it had a glass lens instead of poly lens… but there is something to be said for the impact resistance of polycarbonate. Overall… I can recommend the Stylus Pro.

  12. Thank you brother!
I like the Stylus Pro a lot… great light for the money.
Here's how I classify the three penlight I have at the moment…

Stylus Pro = Good output, battery life and price.

LD05 = Professional build quality, elegant and tough.

Preon 2 = Great modes, lightweight, high output.

I wish Inova would make a penlight… I think it would be a high value light similar to the Streamlight. If you pick up a Preon 2 I don't think you'll be disappointed… it's a great light.

  13. Haha yeah… lights are fun.
I think I have a problem of starting a collection of everything I like… I mean I could get by with one good flashlight, but I like to have one for each task… just like my knives, lol. If it's sharp, bright, or goes bang then count me in, haha.

The Stylus Pro does not disappoint… it's a clean and bright output with a good run time… and not a lot of money.
