This is a great tool from Wheeler engineering. I like it better than other mag well blocks, because it allows you to rotate it in different angles, and it also works with my Tipton Gun vise AND in my standard vise.

This unit as you clearly demonstrated is more universally practical and applicable then a plain wood stud one.

What type of aluminum channel is on the bigger Tipton gun bench? I seen you just inserted the vise into a channel. I was looking to mount RCBS press and other items ,at different times into a track like that,mounted into my reloading table.
Worked just fine, didnt mar the receivers at all, and worked in my small shop vise. The gas tube alignment tool is a little flexible but it did help when tightening the barrel and aligning the gas port on the nut.

Yes, I should have said that, just unscrew the bottom half and use the flat part of the top section to put in your vise.
Would this mount on a regular bench vise?
