So just how accurate are your stock iron back-up sights on your AR-15 and do you really need to spend a lot of money on an upgraded red dot or Scope for your rifle? The results may surprise you…

what is better suited in one's hallway late at night with an AR, with a can and a light? I have heard that the red dot can be washed out by gun light but don't know if that's true. So, I don't know if iron the way to go down my hallway or is there any benefit for red dot. This AR is strictly to be home defense gun (and I don't live on a ranch or some rural setting). Thx.
Exactly ! I fired my M&P 15 sport ll with the iron sights that it came with . A 12×12 inch paper target at 150 yards . I hit 7 out of 10 . Very impressive sights. Not to mention I hadn’t fired a rifle since 1994 . Just before getting out of the Army.
I have a poignant question to ask you. By the way, Great Video. You mentioned that the Federal M190 rounds (Black Box/ White Lettering) are not very accurate. What round would you prefer to use that will get tighter groupings and longer distances?
Actually, I find with Iron Sights I can only get maybe a 5 inch group, with a red dot maybe a 4 to 5 inch group, but with a 4x scope I can get 2 inch group at 100 yards…
GREAT VIDEO!!!! GOOD INFORMATION!!! NICE RIFLES!!!!
