  1. I just ordered one & got the same deal you did, it's the lowest price I could find, I also bought the S&W MP 15/22 for the same price also, the S&W is a great rifle & I'am setting it up just the way I want it, I really like your videos, they are a big help.

  2. This is a fantastic gun. So reliable, fun to shoot and very very accurate. These are hard to find as not many retailers have any to sell anymore. I picked mine up for under $300. So happy about that. What a gun. Do your maintenance and this gun will not let you down. Your ammo might, but not the gun.

  3. Anyone with any real firearms knowlege knows that these are just airsoft guns made by an airsoft gun manufacturer, reconfigured to fire .22lr. Made from cheap alloy (pot metal), a pencil thin barrel covered in a cheap alloy shroud, no interchangeable parts with a real AR, etc. Save your money. The cost of AR's is so low now, just buy a real one and a .22lr conversion kit.

    Avoid this junk.

    Sorry, but true.

  4. Excellent weapon, i got the ops version 2 years ago and i've been shooting all kind of ammo from subsonic to stingers without one single malfunction(gun related) and without adjusting the spring. At 100mt range i can shoot 3.5cm groups with cci minimags. Excellent, I paid 720€ in Italy. Here it comes with one 10rds magazine and i bought 2x 20rds wich are the biggest you can get here. This rifles are made by Walther and the umarex is producing only air guns in europe.Just wanted to add a bit of info to yours.

  5. I'm looking to ad a front grip to my Colt M4 Ops. The front cover hid s any rail to install the grip. How can I remove a he lower fire cover it's 2 plastic sections with no obvious Allen screws. It has some type of buttons though but is not releasing the covers. Can you help ? What's under the covers a rail to place the grip?

  6. Hey!
So I wanted to ask is there is a difference in The M4-Carbine .22lr and the M4-Ops .22lr? Or are they only different in looks? :). And which one would you suggest as first rifle then?
Keep up the good work! 👊

  7. i have one of these rifles and while it does work function flawlessly it still suck i still own it. It sucks because it as a 2 piece clam shell upper receiver it is a pain in the ass to clean the barrel is a joke you cannot take out the bolt unless you take apart the whole gun which takes alot of work its just built like shit do yourself a favor and get a m&p 15 22 way easier to clean and take down

  8. Why do you want to spend a lot of time and money changing everything on one of these. I have one, and don't even have an optic on it. I find the iron sights just fine. It is a cheap plinking rifle, and that is my favorite type of shooting. It works perfectly for that purpose as is. I did get a couple of extra 30 round magazines for it, and plan on getting a couple more, just in case my state goes the CA route. Other than that and a soft case, I spend my money on ammo. I am stockpiling .22 ammo, I buy so much a month, I'm closing in on 20,000 rounds. I do have an AR-15, I have had several, the only one I have now is an S&W M&P 15 Sport 2, which seems to be an excellent rifle for the money. I plan to save up 1000 rounds for it, but I cannot afford to just go out and shoot up a bunch of .223 just for fun. I consider it as more of a home defense, WROL SHTF type rifle. Only thing I did to it was add a Barska red dot sight. The AR-15 is not a long range rifle, it was designed for close combat.

  9. Wow I am so relieved to find out I have a GEN2 one…I was wondering why so many videos said this gun sucked while I am 2000 rounds in without a single failure to fire (I have cleaned it every time I visit the range and shoot about 300-400 rounds each visit and yes its a pain in the ass to clean). Also, the GEN1 did not support a slide fire stock, so I'm curious if it works with the GEN2

  10. I bought the colt Umarex. I slowly started having more and more malfunctions as the weapon built up carbon, the directions say if you break the weapon down further than just breaking it in half it voids the warranty. after getting to the point of 5-8 malfunctions in a 30 rnd mag, I tore it all the way down and cleaned it completely. I still seemed to have malfunctions, mine shot remington better than blazer, figuring the brass coloring made it slide smoother than the lead only blazer. Still frustrated by malfunctions I bought some good CCI hollow point paying the price hoping to get better shooting. no difference, I also adjusted the recoil spring as directed, still issues. Now the weapon will not feed the first round from any of the 3 mags I have, I can drop one round into the chamber, then drop the bolt forward, load the mag and get off about 5 rounds before another feed issue.
Anyone else have this issue? and if so were you able to correct it?
Any suggestions please let me know, jistrebe@gmail.com

  11. I cringe every time I see one of those things. Colt really dicked us over by letting umarex put 'COLT' on a toy that cracks easily. (do a web search) OK for $200 or so, as a novelty, but they were selling for a LOT more than that when they first came out because people thought they were getting a 'Colt'. Instead they bought a modified airsoft gun with a fake barrel, fake bolt release, fake forward assist, fake dust cover, knock-off stock, sights, etc. It's made of pot-metal! But I'm sure it's fun.
