My first full build is complete. Other than the handguard not matching the blue on the rest of the rifle I am really happy w/ the way it turned out.

Nice looking rifle. I bought a upper from Davidson defense . Got about 500 rds down the pipe with no issues.
l bought the same kit, blue handguard, charging hammer, in 300 blackout, I'll put a painted lurtard painted lower, by spikes, I'm going all out on this one., it's a match grade barrel.
Do strike industry blue. Their blue parts look nice
I'm kind of like "badbilly429". I think I would Duracoat or Cerakote what ever I wanted to be blue. You'd save money in extra parts, and everything would match perfectly. Don't powder coat anything though. It messes with the tolerances. For example, your charging handle won't fit into your upper.

So I just ordered the Davidson defense upper "admiral" with lower parts kit and stock. All from Delta Team Tactical, No lower (buying that locally). But I'm kind of nervous bc I was stupid and looked at YouTube reviews AFTER I ordered.. doesn't look like they are all that great..especially with the customer service area. Have you had any troubles with them? And/or any troubles with performance of their merchandise?
That's a nice rifle. I was shopping at bobs army navy surplus store and grice gun shop in Clearfield this passed weekend and stuff is slim picking. I've been wanting to check out the savage recon msr 15 and it's nowhere. It sure seems like a panic buyin frenzy. I saw 1 guy walk out with 3 AR15s. Although I was able to cash in on cheap priced 22 ammo.

It's hard to match one companies colors with another companies colors. Other than that, looking pretty sweet.
