Laminate is still wood. It’s just multiple sheets of wood glued together or “laminated together”. Same way plywood is made.

Anyone watching this who doesn't know, use a full length A2 buffer spring and buffer and do not re-use the carbine parts. If you re-use the carbine parts you will have constant feeding and ejection issues.

Beautiful to behold BUT be prepared to hand-fit the handguards. The fit is very poor and you'll need to remove quite a bit of wood to get the handguards to fit.
Will it make the rifle less scary for the gun control advocates?
I did not mention to swap it to a rifle buffer instead of a carbine. Yes you can change it if you chose to but for my own personal testing I have used both buffers and the gun runs just fine either way. The video is more so on the removal and install of the stock not internal parts but we will take that into consideration on future videos. Thank you!
It should be a rifle buffer.
Are you running it with a carbine buffer? You didn't mention changing the buffer to a rifle buffer for the rifle length buffer tube..
