Maaaaannnnn… Thank you so much!!!!!! I have a new CA Compliant AR15 and a, changing the buttstock to a new fixed stocked. But I had to install a new buffer tube..anyways.. for like 2-3hrs I have been trying to lock in that detent spring with out bending it… and man your video saved my night!!! Your detailed descriptions as well as hints like “ checking pull down pins tension” b4 finally tighten it down. Perfect!! As well as each camera angle as preform the task.. AAAFreaking Plus Man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you again!!!!!
Great vid, bought a cheap lower receiver, buffer tube kit, and lower parts kit without the trigger kit and without a pistol grip. I'm goin to buy a good drop-in trigger and I will choose a quality pistol grip. So your video helped a lot as far as installing the buffer tube. Thanks!
You spend more but it is then your baby. You know the little girl inside and out. Optics can make or break the bank. Good luck deciding ! By the way……Great job on the video. Gets right to the point with no delays. Thanks
If you go the way I did on my previous build you'll end up spending $2,000. But if you watch your spending and choose high value parts you can build one for $500 to $600.

Anyone know what brace will fit on a Phase 5 round Buffer tube snugly?
Great video. Thank you.

Very helpful video, thank you for posting 🙂 The detent spring was a pain…..
What brand is that? And what did it cost you? And are you happy with it?
4-40 1/8 set screwe can help a lot with holding that detent spring from shooting out whenever you want to change the buffer plate
Fantastic camera angle. Most of the other vids on this do not show the angle from this pov. Thank you.

All in all… about how much can you actually save to build one rather than just buy it?
