How would you compare the stability/tightness of this compared to the Magpul CTR?

Whats a good buttstock for the ar10 platform these dont fit ar10s right.

can you take the rubber part off on the cheek rest?

I've been on the website, I can't find a speckled flat dark earth. Did they discontinue this specific color?

this Hogue stock, now replaces my Magpul MOE stock…the 3 QD mounts is what sold me on this stock, plus the included Hogue AR grip.

I just picked up one…. I like the fact its complete with 3 QD mounts..mine came with Hogues rubber over polymer grip..all for $53 from Opticsplanet.com. plus I like the fact this stock is a solid anti "wobble" fit….one may have to sprayed some rem oil, or WD 40 on the position lever to get that squeaky noise out of it..

This is probably a dumb question but would a magpul cheek riser fit on the hogue stock without issue?

how much cushion does that butt-pad have? I have a 308 AR and the narrow hard plastic Magpul pad is uncomfortable.

Magpuls have a larger piece of plastic at the bottom corner….probably to bash the enemy with LOL. how is it on the hogue?

Hi. Good crisp review – thank you. I have exactly this buttstock on my new MDT-LSS chassis, on a savage FCP-SR in 308. The only issue is a cheek piece riser that will fit those three slots you can see – Hogue when I called said they don't make a riser…has anyone seen a compatible clip on riser that could work with this ? Thank you in advance.

It would be great if I could actually find the OD Green version anywhere…

I have one in OD Green.  Great quality.  Not shiny like some of the Magpul stuff.  Now the same with most companies, Hogues opinion of OD Green is not the same as MAGPUL.  Careful trying to mix and match.
