Get a sneak peek at the unreleased Bushnell XRS-II with the Horus Tremor 3 reticle! We’ve already started testing the new Bushnell flagship tactical scope, and it’s flat-out amazing.

2. Bushnell HDMR-II 34mm Rifle Scope:
3. Warne 34mm 20-MOA X-Skel Mount:
4. Weaver Low 34mm Rings:

Start with all the excellent features and lens clarity of the HDMR-II. Now add extra magnification range, a locking diopter adjustment, and some new lens coatings. That’s the XRS-II. Stepping up to a 4.5-30x50mm form factor, the new scope loses none of the HDMR’s clarity. In my limited testing, the image actually seems even better, showing virtually no chromatic distortion. I found it easy to read mirage and detect miniscule texture details in the targets. And while we’re talking about the lenses, the new EXO Barrier coating really does work as advertised. It repels fog, water, dirt, fingerprints, smudges, scratches…you name it. The extra toughness may sound trivial, but it adds a lot of value for those that take their guns into the wilderness.

Other goodies: side focus, giant MRAD turrets, a 3-inch sunshade, and a throw lever on the magnification ring.

The XRS-II tactical scope has been around for months, so why do I say that this FFP scope is brand-new, even unreleased? It’s all about the reticle. The Bushnell Elite XRS-II now includes the option of a Horus Tremor 3 reticle in the first focal plane, which takes the Horus H59 and adds dots for windage estimates. I’m eager to see how it performs in real-world situations. Oklahoma has plenty of wind and land for properly testing the Tremor3 at long range, and we have the precision rifles to make it happen.
