My broken Streamlight TLR-2 Weapon light and a bit of a channel update. I’ve never had trouble with my TLR series lights in the past. After seven years of faithful service working both as a police officer and as security, my TLR2 bit the dust, kind of…

  1. Great video as always.   Personally I think 600Lm is too much on a pistol, it's way too bright indoors, 200-300 is about as much as I would want.   On a rifle 600 is great outside.   Let us know what you think of the new light once you have some time with it, thanks.

  2. Thanks for the update! I actually do prefer the Streamlight over the Surefire light however to be honest I still am not use to weapon mounted lights. I guess I'm not with the times. I still like a handheld light in conjunction with say a 1911…maybe its because for the longest time 1911s did not have rails (and I use to think they looked ugly!). Hopefully Streamlight will replace that light for you as this is a 'mandatory' piece of gear

  3. Nice, been wanting to get the HL-G, let us know how you like it. The biggest problem I have been hearing about green laser, is if you live in a colder climate, the laser will fade and your battery will drain like crazy. Of course having a warm patrol car, would help buffer the problem. Hopefully you can do a comparison if Streamlight replaces your TLR-2 and you can give your thoughts between them.

  4. Hey bud, I have a stream light Stinger with the tail cap switch. Had it for 3 to 4 years using it hard everyday as a mechanic. Changing the battery one day ( about a year after buying it) I broke the tail cap switch. Years later I drop the light and the LED burned out. Sent it in to stream light and asked for a price to repair. One week later no response from Stream light. Two weeks later still no reply. The next day I get a package my light is back All fixed for free with a note apologizing for the lack of communication. I love all my stream light products!

  5. Any specific reason for the 35 in regular patrol? I've only ever seen the 34/35 used on tactical/swat teams. Not to mention that duty holsters are a little harder to find for it.

  6. Hey it's me again i have some dark questions you have the right to not respond
1: Have you ever killed someone in the line of duty if so how do you feel
2: Have you ever been shot if so how does it feel
3: Did you know a close friend/Partner in police who got killed
4: How do you feel when you come safe home after a Patrol
5: Have you ever been in a shootout if so how does it feel
6: Do you regret being a Police Officer
These questions are just to know how cops feel
