These are just my first impressions after shooting several hundred rounds through the rifle with the EMOD stock.
From RifleGear.com:
The VLTOR EMOD is about one inch longer than the original Modstock and with the rubber butt plate installed, is about a quarter of an inch longer than the CRANE SCB. The increased length of the VLTOR EMOD is a major benefit when used on scoped rifles (SPR/DMR), as it increases the available comb for any given length of pull.
The buttplate of the VLTOR EMOD is slightly wider and longer at the toe than the regular M4 stock with a noticeable negative pitch, making transitions from the ready feel much more natural. The VLTOR EMOD was given enough weight to help balance out the normally muzzle heavy feel associated with negative pitch buttstocks

I have these stocks on several of my AR-15's. I still think there isn't a better stock out there.
Hi! If from my airsoft gun tube comes out a wire how can i plug this wire with the battery? And where i can put this last one?? Thanks
Why put battery compartments in a stock? Seems kind of pointless to me.
What the hell? Why does stuff look translucent?
Excellent stock. I've been so impressed with every Vltor product I have bought. Great Video.
The effects your using make it difficult to really see everything viewing from a phone. But great video. Thank you I'll be buying one soon.
Nice video!. Been using this stock for years and love it. On a side note, let your beard get stuck in the grooves and believe me you will care. It kills.
I want that see thru buffer tube! Lol and if anyone doesn't know why everything looks "see thru" he is using a green screen and adding a computer generated background. Good work though looks nice. I don't know what causes the see thru effect as far as green screen not sure why it's doing that. Nice review though! Thanks!
anyone notice the gun looks kinda see through?..
This is my favorite stock. Not only does it look bad ass it also feels good when you use it.
I was thinking the same! The camo pattern shows through the gun!
Cool video…I'm wondering if a new buffer tube is required to install this? Mine has a commercial tube and I'm unsure if I need the complete kit or can just purchase the new buttstock only…
Wtf are you green screening? Very distracting. Thanks for the review btw.
Your carbon fiber exterior appears transparent at various angles. At time is looks as though we can see the leaves,grass and ground thru your AR 15. Very impressive.
ithinkhes useing a green screen in the background so whatever color is on his gun is the same as the greenscreen so its making it look see through
The rifle is transparent. What the actual fuck..
I don't understand.. haha.
Love the Vltor
16"
Great idea. Love it. Thanks.
you can also put foam ear plugs in the side compartments with batteries to stop them from moving and making noise
Wtf? How did you do the clear gun setup… Amazing !
does your rifle have an 18" barrel on it?…..just curious
Yes, I do use a green screen from time to time. It never turns out exactly the way I like it, but itd nice to be able to pick a background out of anything.
did you shoot this video over a green screen? i noticed there were no shadows emitted onto the table
@SupremeAmerican That's a thought.
@SupremeAmerican My vibrator and my optics.
@strongbow1800 its a ghost gun!
few people will understand that reference.
