After a few requests I decided to post a vid with a couple of rifles in the Tipton’s Best Gun Vise so you can see what it looks like.

I've been very happy with mine. Purchased it about 5 months ago, and it's worked well. I'd like to build a bench that I can mount it to for a bit more stability. But, for the price, this is well worth the purchase.
I just tried one I think it's a flimsy POC, just my opinion
I'd like see someone use a handgun with this vise. That would help me make up my mind on the purchase as I have more occasion to clean pistols Thanks.
Can you use this gun vise to sight in the rifle? Thanks.
Wow – that was difficult to watch. But I applaud your determination to film through what appeared to be an earthquake.
There's no tripod on earth that will let me go from full shot to close up macro without picking it up and moving it, so what's the point? It's Youtube, not Imax 3D at the theater. Pay me 15$ per view and we'll talk 🙂
Make your next purchase a tripod for your camera-extremely difficult to watch.
It works well and it's cheap. Its the Yankee Hill phantom
Oh, another thing, would you recommend that flash hider? I think my SU-16CA could use one for appearance.
Not sure if you can shed some light on this but could the tipton vice be used to sight in a rifle at a range? Small caliber [between .204 ruger and 5.56 nato, low recoil]. That middle L block looks great for break open shotguns though, saves using rugs in a conventional shop vice
@cmckerliesr Good point
You do not have to remove front support to change the position of the center rest. Just unscrew the knob. That will expose the threads and you can lift the reposition the center rest.
@aliensunderground Thanks, it's a classic from either late 60's or early 70's. Plan on making a close up video of it in the future.
@HeroHasGuns I'm going to guess no. While it is fairly sturdy, I don't know that I would trust plastic to stand up to a lot of torque. But I could be wrong.
@mrwhite4 Thanks. My wife is convinced that my dad gave it to me, but it will always be daddy's shotgun to me.
I have been looking at this vise, thanks for the video. Tipton makes great stuff usually, I am a fan of theirs..
@wombatbull It's a real classic. Planning on doing a closeup video on it soon.
good video bro like that shotgun
