Too much audio distortion talking in the room
I just bought the Vortex Diamondback Tactical scope, and mounted it on my Lewis Machine and Tool AR-15. It’s a beautiful scope. I love it so far.
Looks like all those double shots would've missed as I traveled upwards
"zeroed at 100 yards". Does that depend on using particular or regular ammo?
"Don't ask don't tell pretty dam good policy for the consumer, basically the manufacturer getting a possible lose of future reviniee. Nice
So the. Correct way to zero is at 100 yds??? In full power or 1x power??? So if you zero at 100yds… how's the point of view and impact from 25 to to 100??
a overpriced piece of shit – that warranty? you will need it.
the primary arms eats it alive. flush it.
JUST GOT ONE AND LOVE IT.
Dave you Samoan?
When I say budget I mean under $150 since it's going on a $300 rifle
Would the bullet drop work with a 300 Blackout rifle?
I enjoy Vortex and Terminus Optics Scopes for the price. Can't go wrong with them.
Get the ballistic calculator app Strelok Pro. A 200 yard zero is pretty typical in all scopes unless stated otherwise. Using Strelok you'll be able to see what your exact drops are for the bdc at your given altitude, weather, etc. I see people in the comments saying use a 50 yard zero, but a 200 yard zero is much more accurate and will match the bdc drops better. Usually a 200 yard zero wont exactly match up at 50 yards so that's why Strelok is nice to use.
Sweet optic! I recently picked up its big brother, the Gen 2 PST 1-6. It's odd that your scope required refocusing. That rear focus is to bring the reticle in focus for your eye. The only time it should need to be changed is if your vision changes. I wonder if that's a common issue.
"Main crosshair zeroed 50 yards, use from 20 to 200 yards."http://www.vortexoptics.com/uploads/web_manual_ret_strike-eagle_ar-bdc-moa.pdf
You should do a back to back with the new 1-8 version!
Supposed to zero that optic at 50 yards
think you'll be getting some off set irons?
vortex makes some good stuff
nice job on that Vortex scope review I think you might have convinced me to buy one
