  1. Great vid. Gravitated toward a weapon light and a lenser flashlight for work carry.
650 lumen at hand for area survey and 800 lumen on the weapon to free up off hand for support.
Had a 2,200 lumen Streamlight flashlight..for a week..ate up 2 sets of batteries in that week..its a great light..but 45 dollars a week is too hungry..traded for a TLR-1 which I fully expect to be as voracious..but wont use until needed.the lenser goes at least a week until its weakened the batts as to make it too dim.

  2. Actually just received a TLR as a gift. I was going to run it on my gun all the time for ease of not having to deal with putting it on, taking it off, using a different holster. Plus I'm out at night a lot. I see there are definitely 2 camps as far as if you need one outside of home defense.

  3. how comfortable is it to carry IWB? I want to carry a weapons mounted light but I don't want to order a $130 holster until I can get some feed back from people that do. the light is a tlr-1.

  4. I also like the fact that I can stick my gun in someone's gut in a cqb situation without taking it out of battery. My TLR-HL has a flood type beam and my handheld is more focused for distance. My opinion, is that you always need both for several reasons.

  5. I carry the Xiphos Night Ops Ntx light on my Glock 21. I also have the Level 3 serpa holster for it. For me its a great setup. I carry a little survival light I picked up from Walmart. I like this video. A buddy just introduced me to your channel so just subscribed. Hope to see more great vids.

  6. I added an inforce to my G19 not too long ago. Didn't think I'd be able to carry it AIWB very well, but it's actually not bad.

George over at insane kydex creations turns some amazingly comfortable holsters. Some of the highest fit and finish I've experienced yet. The holster ride-height is also short guy friendly.

  7. Great points , I agree with you having a firearm light I think it's critical.. but do you carry conceal or open carry just wondering do you carry the firearm light at all times . I just figured it'd be too bulky to be carrying every day

  8. another pro for an attached laugh is if the bad guy is too close to you, and you have to press the pistol into their body, the slide won't go out of battery. For most set ups
