  1. So just a random question here since you own the TLR-2. I was thinking of getting this for my rifle. Here is my problem, I have top and bottom rail mounts, however I have a scope up top so I can't put a light + a laser on the gun (to my knowledge) as two separate accessories. Can the TLR 2 attach to a rifle? Bare in mind please that I am a novice when it comes to gun accessories. I hunt and know how to handle guns, but I do not know all the ins and outs of these accessories, never needed them.

I want to get this (or a similar product) so I can put it on my bottom rail mount and keep the top clear however I am afraid that it may not fit. If it does fit, I am afraid that it would break from a 223/556 rifle kick.

What do you think? If this is not appropriate for a rifle, do you know of any taclight/laser combo that is good for rifles?

  2. The three position laser switch kinda ruins it for me on the trl-2. I like simplicity and I think a simple 2 position on off switch for the laser would be more practical. Why would they include a laser only selection? If you want the laser only, just don't turn the light switch, right?

  3. A buddy of mine has the Veridian X5L and loved it but has trouble with the lens of the laser clouding up, thus affecting the focus.  It may be because the laser is above the light and very close to the end of the barrel.  I tried it right out of the box and loved the green laser but for the cost and the clouding problem, I'm holding off.

  4. What holster option do you use if any with the Laser / Light on your handgun? I own a Beretta PX4 Storm in 40 S&W and looking for a light (TLR1) and would like a Holster as well that fit properly, so Im getting ideas. Love to hear your thoughts.

  5. hi whats the size of rhe wrench to adjust the laser i bought a tlr 2 but didnt come with the wrench is there a wrench that i can buy that will be compatible so i can adjust my laser

  6. I own a Laserspeed XL-2LLG-SPX looks and functions same. Wondered if they're made by the same manufacturer. Laserspeed has Green laser, claims 205 lumen, retail at $155. Purchased mine on Ebay for a little less. I have several lights and question Lumen claims. From video Streamlight looks very bright. Like to see them side by side. Yours looks very bright and I'm very satisfied with the mine. Own two green lasers both visible day and night. Can't say what it would be like on video.

  7. Great demo. I got a tlr2 2nd hand and the laser isn't sighted in correctly. No tool provided 2nd hand for adjustment but thanks to you at least I know what I'm looking for.

  8. ok i am wondering can you see the laser dot? It may be camera or something else but with the tac light being so bright i cant see the laser nearly at all.

  9. @MrDaajman – from one who has it YES, THE TLR-2 *DOES* HAVE A STROBE FUNCTION AND YES, YOU CAN SET THE RED DOT SIGHT WHILE IT IS EITHER IN SPOTLIGHT OR SATROBE MODE. All lights can function separately or in conjunction with each other. I just set mine up a few days ago; I know of which I speak. This is DAMN good equipment! Even at $285 (my price) it was worth it; I am a P.I. and if it ever comes down to mne or him, I want to blind him WHILE putting that dot on him. PRICELESS!
