There are a lot of different sights available for your rifle these days, being long range scopes with magnification, red dot sights designed for close quarters shooting, or simply iron sights. Today we explain the pros and cons of each sighting method!

  1. Good discussion! I choose RDS for its absolute freedom from eye relief. Staying focused in the eye box give me a headache after shooting for several hours, but maybe that wouldn't happen with a smidt and bender or zeiss optic

  2. You're showing both options on 16 inch carbines. If you require anything other than iron sights on an AR at 300 meters and less, you aren't a shooter to begin with (CQB or distance). Amateurs shouldn't give advice nor make videos.

  3. The HOLOSUN HS515CU or military CM have solar which I use most of the time sold my amount because HOLOSUN A BETTER RED DOT AT HALF THE PRICE. YOU SHOULD DO A COMPARISON VIDEO I THINK YOU'LL BE VERY SURPRISED. 😎

  4. I never used red dot sights befire. What's the difference between cheap and expensive red dot sights? I don't understand why some cost so much. Aren't both just a red dot and glass?
