Good video, however you should call it a RIFLE not a GUN. Remember Full Metal Jacket?
Aren’t the iron sights installed backwards?
How u liking it
Any issues with your xps so far? Thanks
Hi, great videos as always! I'm torn between the aimpoint patrol red dot or an eotech, which one do you think would be a better red dot for a 200yd red dot?
I like the super small 1 MOA dot in the Eotech. The ring doesn't bug me at distance
change the batterys like u do with ur smoke alarms !
What is the OPMOD? Is that another hood protector option in place of the original EoTech hood?
As far as 'the outer circle.' At 100M if you aim center mass the top of the circle is at the top of the head and the bottom at the lowest portion of the torso. This also helps one to estimate range and possible 'lead.' This allows the eyes to gain the target much faster than a 'red dot' sight.
If I here QCB one more time I am going to loose it.
Why would you put your weapon in a gun safe for two years and leave the optics on???
I've been researching red dots for almost a year now, and just made my final decision with this video…eotech exps2-0 it is. I'm just into functionality, and I feel this one has what I've been looking for. Thank so much for the video!
What length is your rail on the BCM lightweight upper? they have a 13" and 15" Im deciding on. The 15" is currently on back order. In terms of the Eotech, Im trying to decide on the one or 2 dot, curious if there is an advantage….I suspect you can reach out a little further with the 2 dot…..but more for your eye to adjust to.
I love that you made videos about this upper and the keymod, it's helping me decide my lightweight setup for my next AR…..BUT…….
The way you stick your pinky out when you shoot is so gay I can't finish watching.
I tagged the wrong person, sorry. I was saying that the Eotech has an 8 hour shut off if you turned it on via the arrow up button, and 4 hour shut off if you use the arrow down button. Saves battery if you use the 4 hour function and forgot to turn it off. I agree the lens covers are ugly, I haven't given aimpoint a try yet as I'm used to the Eotech. I used them in 2 tours as well.
+TheFireArmGuy If you turn the Eotech on with the "Arrow down" marking it will turn off at 4 hours. Up arrow, 8 hour shut off. Just something to think about. Thanks for the reviews!
How much lighter does that BCM upper feel compared to a government upper?
I cant wait to shoot it!
Does that use AA batteries?
Nice Video. Keep up the good work!
i recently converted from the EXPS2 to aimpoint M3L's with 2MOA. One reason is I had a failure where moisture got into the Eotech, it was fixed fast and free by them, so I lost a bit of confidence with them and now that Ive got them Im liking the battery life discussion more and the lens covers too since Im here in NH like you. The Eotech after market covers dont completely seal and as u mentioned it makes it ever more ugly then a Aimpoint on there.
cool video…i've been running an eotech for several years…i almost don't notice the outer ring on the reticle…i do like the 1 moa dot in the center,as well as the fact i can use the "ring" in close quarters ( 7-15 or so yds ) as an aiming point…the tick mark on the lower portion of outer ring can be used instead of the dot as an aiming point, it compensates for height over bore issues when shooting up close….at distance it can be used as a crude range finder, allowing you to take advantage of the smaller 1 moa dot for easier precision shots…cool stuff…
