I need to send my HL X-5 back to the store. It puts out no more light than my HL-3 which is 1000 lumens. I expected 3500 lumens to be brighter but it is not. Even with regular throw away batteries its no different. Supposed to be what 2200 or 2500 lumens on regular batteries. Nope. Im sending this puppy back to this place.
Got one this week with the rechargeable batteries and this thing is boss. Nothing on the market like this only a few years ago.
I would like to think that I had help this light be born from an email that I sent them after last year's hunting season asking for a more powerful light for longer distances while trying to recover a deer. The HI x and HI 3 just wasn't powerful enough for those 450 yard searches.

Does it fit in a standard duty belt holster and does it come with a charger?
So when the fuck is this light suppose to be released? I mean I've only been waiting 3 months!
Is this too big for home defense shotgun? To heavy for a battle 308 rifle? are there rail mounts? 3500 lumens crap in 10 years were going to have nuke powered lighthouse brightness…
Doesn't make sense why would it run 2500 on cr123 but 3500 on 18650.
I have hl4 and it runs 2200 lumen on cr123 or 18650
